So what happens next - MJ

I have went from being 15st 10 to now being 11 st 9 using MJ via med express.
To say I'm happy is an understatement, but I still have some fat around my middle that needs to shift. As I'm 5ft 11, this puts me just into the healthy BMI range, but Med express are telling me now they can't even prescribe a maintenance dose for me as my BMI is now below 23.5. they want proof of my weight from a pharmacy or my GP to prescribe anymore which basically means I can't even lie (which I wouldn't anyway).
The lowest healthy weight for my height is 9st 7 so I'm hardly veering towards being severely underweight. My body shape could definitely lend to losing at least another half stone.

I'm absolutely gutted, I still have a bit to go and then I'm expected to just come off this cold turkey, if I was only a few llbs heavier they'd let me have a maintenance dose, but a few llbs heavier is not where I want to be.

Anyone else have this, what have you done?

I'm not in this position yet, but you could try moving to a pharmacy that offers a maintenance service. There's a thread in this section somewhere that lists which pharmacies have said they will continue to prescribe rather than do a hard cut off.

Yeah they are crap. Look at the maintenance threads, many others now offer maintenance and most offer the drug to come down to where you’re comfortable. Just leave them, I’m surprised you stayed as long.

I’m with Zava. I just checked my BMI and it’s 23.2, and I’ve just had a re-order approved.

Move to a better pharmacy with sensible maintenance policies. Oushk would accept you if you can show prescribing history and they will support down to BMI 19 if that is suitable for you.

Brilliant advice thanks so much, I will Def consider moving, really disappointed with medexpress and their maintenance policy (or lack of really).
It really shows that there can't be a one size fits all policy when it comes to weight loss, every body is different

I was too, they give rhe same policy for wegovy and mounjaro even though wegovy is approved for two years and mounjaro for life. They do a hard cut off at two years or. 23.5 bmi. I tried to question that and got a condescending response back so just left.

I guess they think it doesn’t matter there is always another customer to replace us and all they need to do is offer 40 quid discounts. They treat customers like they just another punter and they are doing them a favour.
