My amazing auggies ladies 💖 - another thread and heading for 6mths in !!!

Be proud of us all.

We conquered our first Christmas and many of us sts or lost. Which is a first.

Those who gained it was 1-2lbs (minus the lady who ate her family and gained 18lbs) 😂😂 and the gain has come off

So to a new 2025 - some are getting near their goal and thinking about maintenance

Some still have a way to go to get to their happy weight

Some are on the highest dose of 15

Some are 5 and below

Everyone welcome

@AuntieDote it's definitely helped me with the levels in my body, you can log your symptoms with each jag. Go low and slow, if I had gone up as per guidelines I'd have come off by now. X

morbidcuriosity · 19/01/2025 08:41

@PoemsForTea I don't think I would rat anything out that trolly.. possibly the fridge raiders at a push, but they are rank, would rather a plain chicken breast I cooked myself..
A girl I know eats the microwave porridge with syrup cos she says her doctor said porridge is good for you, I've tried to explain that the one she has every day ain't that great but she won't listen..

Haha, I read this thread. Stating she is eating 2000 calories a day and gaining weight, wouldn't listen to the fact maybe 2000 is too much and maybe she need to really look at the food she is eating.
I also gave up as the poster wasn't listening to any advice or any reasoning. I was amused to start with but quickly got bored.

I was also on that thread and also gave up. What was scary was that the Op obviously had no idea at all about how MJ works and yet was willingly putting it into her body.

That was the actual worrying part, why are these dafties not reading up about a medication before purchase. They want to inject a quick fix formula and be slim. Then come on and moan because they've put on weight or been ill because of not eating for 4 days ffs.

I've not seen the film but it makes me think of the new film with Demi Moore when she wants to look young but there are conditions.

I had to re-register due to MN weirdness. You'll never guess who I used to be.

Hmm such a cunning disguise 🤔

Between that one and the one who ate virtually nothing for 4 days and wondered why she felt shit it has been entertaining

SilverSprings510 · 19/01/2025 10:29

I am fragile today. Just done my bonus dose so injected 0.7 of a 10mg pen. Will be interested to see how I get on, as I’ve ordered another 10 for this month!

FlappingMadly · 19/01/2025 10:30

Hmm, @weaseleyes Tricky one 🤔 😂

Where is the actual food on the trolley?

Anyway, I came on tell you that I did FIVE proper press ups. Slow and controlled.

weaselyeyes · 19/01/2025 10:35

It's clear none of you recognise me because I'm so much thinner 😁

5 more than I would ever manage!! Brilliant 👏

morbidcuriosity · 19/01/2025 11:44

Ha, yes the not eaten much in 4 days and wondering why she felt ill..
Seriously some of these threads are worrying, but sadly entertaining . I resist commenting though as not worth it, but still enjoy the read..

Right daft wallopers 😆 So, so many!
I don't have the patience so can't post as that poster was not going to listen or change one thing. I dont know the reasons for that, I just know my compassion wanes rather rapidly so I steer clear!
I saw a post on Facebook recently that made me want to cry - this was someone sharing their 'getting ready for mj' food shop 😑
I am too old and grumpy for social media I have decided lol

So buying protein stuff. Crisps. Porridge pots

Dear old mum wants coconut loaf cake after her roast today, (cooking as I type), just checked the nutritional info for the first time ever, and it's nearly 500 calories a slice! Guess I wont be having more than a nibble then, I suspect that's what put me here in the first place 😆.
@Blondeshavemorefun I work SI nights several times a week, max 6 hours sleep on a good night, leaves me totally shattered without having small children. I feel your pain.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/01/2025 13:38

@doingitthistime coconut cake sounds nice. Have half a slice ?

What SI nights

OP posts:
doingitthistime · 19/01/2025 13:48

Sleep nights in the care industry, work during the evening, sleep 12 - 6 am then work another couple of hours. There to deal with any issues overnight so may have to get up.
I will taste the cake.

SilverSprings510 · 19/01/2025 13:59

I read the 2000cal thread out of curiosity 😧 wow.

NippyNinjaCrab · 19/01/2025 14:07

@SilverSprings510 how come you're fragile today? ☹️ x

@weaselyeyes who is this imposter! We need to tag the correct one and remember you're now with a y 😂 x

SilverSprings510 · 19/01/2025 14:14

@NippyNinjaCrab had a few too many last night. Much better this afternoon mercifully 😂

AuntieDote · 19/01/2025 14:25

Well done and congratulations @Ithinkimrincewind , and to everyone else at target. Amazing achievements

@weaselyeyes 😂 that’s definitely it - you’re unrecognisable now

@FlappingMadly - five is amazing, I’ve never managed one. I cannot and have never been able to make my body move in that particular way - even in my early 30s I was in a slimmer phase and going to a PT and I was getting quite good at most of the exercises but just could not do the press ups, even the half ones. However many times he and other people explain it to me I seem to assume the position and then have no idea how to make my arms/ rest of me do what’s required!

I weighed this morning and have lost around 3-4lbs since restarting - now only 2lb over what I was when I stopped in December. It’s not exact because my scales needed batteries changing and gave me a few random readings when I weighted before starting again so wasn’t sure which was correct - have replaced them now!

Even though it’s only 2lbs more I still feel mentally much bigger and can’t shake the feeling I’ve piled loads of weight on - clothes fit the same and everything but like has just been discussed, it’s very hard to shake the image in your head. Also, even though this is a slimmer weight/ dress size than I’ve been for a while I still feel big partly because it’s distributed so differently - much more of a belly since I had DD, have the trademark c-section tummy as well, which I wasn’t so aware of before because I was just bigger all over anyway!
