Golden dose syringes

Hello, I'm going to use the 'golden dose' on my mounjaro pen and looking to purchase the syringes to draw it out. Does anyone have any recommendations for or links they can share for ones they've used which work well? Thanks in advance.

@Workgetsintheway they are longer, 8mm instead of 4mm, but the width gauge (32g) is the same.

@SilenceInside might be a really stupid question but the fact it goes into your skin deeper makes no difference? Xx

@Workgetsintheway no, 8mm is still considered to be subcutaneous. On the three possible injection sites (arm, thigh, stomach) you would not be able to inject too deep as the subcutaneous fat layer is most definitely deep enough. The 8mm syringes are often used by diabetics to inject insulin subcutaneously.

I don't insert the needle all the way in, usually only about two thirds of the way, and it doesn't feel any different to the usual injection from the pen.

Hi everyone, on my 3rd pen & I haven’t been making use of this extra dose, can I ask on the syringes linked above are the actual needles the same size as the MJ ones or are they bigger/longer ? Thanks all for any help you can give xx

I use the 8mm syringes. The needles is honestly tiny - think about it, 8mm is less than 1cm! I know when the word syringe is mentioned it is easy to picture big long needles but it really isn't like that.

I actually look forward to my dose with the syringe, as I find it much easier to push a syringe down than the plunger on the pen. And 32g means they're super thin (the higher the gauge the thinner they are so the less you will feel them).

Obviously the first time I did it I was nervous as I didn't know what to expect, but it was a breeze.

I just managed to get 0.8mls out of my first 2.5mg pen, could only get 0.5ml syringes though so had to jab twice.

Nice step up before my 5mg pen next week.
