A petite dose dilemma

I've been using Mounjaro since July, and I had a starting weight of ~77kg. My current weight is ~65kg and I'm aiming to get to somewhere between 55kg and 60kg. That puts me solidly in the middle of normal BMI, as I'm only 160cm in height.

I count calories and I'm strictly consuming between 1000 and 1200 calories per day - doing my best to get my 5 per day, protein, etc. My BMR is 1100 and I have a sedentary job so my TDEE is low. I haven't been diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes, but it does run strongly in my older family members, regardless of their BMI. So I'm expecting to develop it and wouldn't be surprised if I'm insulin resistant.

For dosing, I did one month on 2.5mg and since then I've been using 5mg. I was averaging around 0.5kg - 0.6kg weight loss per week, but for the last month that's dropped down to 0.2kg - 0.3kg, or about half a pound.

Recently the suppression hasn't been quite as strong on the 5mg pen. I've experienced a bit more hunger. However I've been able to use willpower to just stuck stubbornly to my permitted calories.

I'm currently considering whether to increase my dosage to 7.5mg for my next pen, to see if that helps get the scales creeping less slowly. However, I'm hesitant because I'm not sure it's healthy to reduce my calories, and therefore increasing to 7.5mg might just be a more expensive way to have worse side effects but still only lose the same tiny amount each week!

Has anyone else been in the same or a similar situation, and have any insights to share? As I'm getting to the second half of my weight loss journey, do I just need to make peace with the fact that my weight loss will now be glacially slow?

Are you post-menopausal?

Could you increase your activity? Strength training is one of the best ways to boost metabolism.

Yes, I'm early 40s but I had a full hysterectomy last year. I am, however, on replacement HRT.

I do Pilates and I have a walking treadmill that I used when I get time. I could try and introduce some more weights into my day and see if that helps.

OP, I'm also in my 40s and weightloss isn't fast but not slow either. I can't go any lower in calories either. However whenever I've done some exercise (also treadmill at home and a vibrating machine thing, even for 10 minutes each), i find that I lose weight the next day. Nothing else different besides the exercise. I've only had to do this 3 times in the 2 months I've been on MJ so I'm not sure if it's enough to call it a 'thing' but I won't hesitate to do the same again if I feel like it's slowed or stalled. I've lost nearly 2 stone now. 1 stone was in the first month I think.

I believe incorporating more exercise would help but I have some health issues that make it difficult to do as often as I'd like. I need breaks in between days to recover. The walking treadmill could be your answer if you're able to increase the intensity or do so more often.
