Bonus dose help

Hi all. Not having the best mounjaro journey.
Very little suppression to date....
At the end of my first pen, I tried twisting it with hard twist...it broke (I thought that was impossible!)

Any tips for twisting to get the bonus dose for my second pen at the weekend please?

Otherwise I guess plan B is syringes!!

I would take whatever you have left in your first pen this week as it will most likely be a bit more than 2.5 mg dose, but it won't be enough for 3.75

Then next week you can do 45 clicks from your 5mg one to get 3.75 as a step up to the full 5mg.

It was too late for my first pen but I couldn't twist my second pen either so pleased that got syringes to work

I have some left on my pen and am considering these needles.

Do you put them to the top of the pen and draw out the serum? What if so do it wrong? What if there's a little air bubble ?! I'm a nervous wreck but hate the wasted medicine.

You insert the syringe needle in through the red seal into the liquid in the pen then draw the liquid out into the syringe by pulling down on the plunger.
I use 1ml syringes and a full dose in any pen is 0.6ml. The amount left is usually a bit more than this. I usually get 0.7 ml.
Then hold the syringe with needle pointing upwards and tap it gently so any air bubbles go to the top. You can then do a small push on plunger to remove air bubbles and check needle works by seeing a dot of liquid come out.

Don't worry about air bubbles though as you're not injecting into a vein.

Insert needle into your chosen site and push in the plunger.
I jab in my stomach as I have a lot of fat there still, so go straight in but some say you should jab at a 45 degree angle as the needles are a bit longer.

It's a lot easier than I imagined it would be.
