Mounjaro

Hello,
I'm looking for real honest opinions. I'm 41, 5'7 and around 16st 7lbs. I've struggled with my weight all my life, tried every diet going since i've been 18. I just always fail. I'm now looking at Mounjaro. I have health anxiety so I'm questioning it!
How long have people been on this for? Does it work? Is it worth trying in my situation?
Going to add i have borderline high blood pressure, and a family risk (Mum) of Stroke.

Just follow the dosing schedule. Go up a dose each month until you find a level that works for you up to the maximum. Surely you've seen that people all respond to the drug differently but if you're still on half the maximum dose and not losing why wouldn't you move up?

Absolutely, move up. I am finding it impossible to eat more than one small meal a day on 7.5mgs. It makes me feel horribly full.
So I'll have it for another month but as soon as it stops working I'll move up.

Curious to know why you haven’t gone back down to 5mg if the 7.5 makes you too full to eat?

I've been on mounjaro since august last year. I umm'd and ahhh'd about it for months before I took the plunge, and I wish I'd done it earlier.

I started at 16 stone 2lb at 5ft5 and now am 11st 6lb.

It's been slow compared to others but I'm absolutely delighted. I feel like me again. I want to lose another stone, but at 56 I don't want to take it too far and look haggard.
