Have a look here and read through trust pilot reviews etc. Think about what you are looking for - full support from companies such as Voy or cheapest prices? Great personal service from a pharmacy such as Oushk? Are you willing to shop around monthly for first time offers? Are you happy to post a referral code in the hope of getting money off? Quick delivery or pick up? Only you know what you need from a provider. Good luck😂

@GlitteryFarts do not post your code outside of the MNHQ codes thread.

Hi, do you know if the prices that are quoted on that site include the discount that's stated in the right hand column? Or is there, for example, an extra £40 off the MedExpress price of 129.99 for 7.5mg?

I used Juniper then switched to Voy. They do free postage and usually the first order from Voy is £120 ish. There are tons of referral codes if you look on the discount thread.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 06/10/2024 12:28

@LionAndEmperor13 the prices on the list are with the discount already applied.

TheWildRoseBear · 06/10/2024 12:48

I use Oushk Pharmacy. It’s a very patient led company with lots of additional support and decent prices. They have their own Facebook support group where they have a nutritionist and a PT etc and their lead pharmacist is also very active to answer questions etc

MissBPotter · 06/10/2024 13:26

I use voy but I am considering switching to oushk. With cot you get a sharps box included and there is coaching and an app. I haven’t done any coaching though as it’s nearly all in the working day and I am at work then myself. That’s why I’m considering switching to a cheaper one but I am happy with voy overall. I have a discount code if interested 😂

User364837 · 06/10/2024 13:33

I think they’re generally much of a muchness,
if I were you I’d weigh up-

  • initial price
  • how much price goes up with doses
  • discount voucher vs price without discount
  • make sure you get needles and a sharps bin
I’ve been happy with Zava but considering moving to med express soon.
Doggymummar · 06/10/2024 13:36

I use Chequp and have for 18 months now.

CesarSoubreyon · 06/10/2024 13:36

I use Oushk and highly recommend them. They do discount codes for all customers rather than referral codes for joining so their prices are competitive.

I've had 3 deliveries and all arrived the next day with the ice still frozen. You can choose your delivery date too.

They offer excellent maintenance plans and any time I've contacted them I've received an immediate response, even on a Sunday night! I don't plan on changing providers now I'm with them.

TheShellBeach · 06/10/2024 13:38

I've changed to Medino after Voy refused to honour my discount codes.

Medino is much better and cheaper.

Cloud pharmacy

BankHolidayReset · 06/10/2024 13:53

I used Care Pharmacy. No issues. I didn't need the support side and delivery was fine. At the time it was the cheapest at £125 for 2.5 pen.

WeAllHaveWings · 06/10/2024 17:08

The link given shows most of the popular registered pharmacies that are safe to buy from. Any registered pharmacy will be "safe".

I use Oushk, primarily because it allows you to pick a delivery date, and choice of courier - DPD, or two Royal Mail delivery types which I need so I can make sure I am home to receive the delivery. With my last provider I had no idea when they were dispatching or which day it would arrive until I got the tracking email the day before.

Delivery can be tricky as the cold packaging lasts for 48hrs only and once the pen is out of fridge temperatures it should be discarded after 30 days. One of the RM options allows for putting in a "safe place".

If the parcel cannot be delivered due to courier delays then the provider should replace and take the issue up with the courier. If it is now delivered in time because you are not in to receive it or your "safe place" is not actually safe, then the liability falls to you.

Personally, I am with MedExpress and have been with them from the very beginning (a little over 4 months ago now).
I know they seem to be a mixed bag, when I look on here, but from my personal experience I cannot fault them:

  • 9 times out of 10 I've had my order delivered within 24-48 h of placing it
  • they are pretty responsive via email/phone (I've managed to get through every time, maybe lucky?)
  • they offer £40 off first-time orders
  • they have a price match promise - if you find the medication cheaper elsewhere, you send them a screenshot and they credit your account with the difference
  • they support maintenance
  • and upon your first order, you automatically get your own personal discount code, which if used by friends/family/random strangers here, gets you £40 credit...
  • I've had 1 issue with them, where my pen arrived unrefrigerated (it was stuck with Royal Mail over a hot summer weekend) and they sent me a free complimentary pen

Does Oushk allow you to opt out of informing GP?

WeAllHaveWings · 07/10/2024 14:49

@Marbles55 Not sure if Oushk have informed my GP (I am in Scotland and we don't have a NHS app to check), I remember there was a question asking permission in the consultation and I answered yes, no idea what would happen if I answered no, you can try and see.

The requirements for consultations is changing and there is more due diligence happening all the time which is a good thing for everyone's safety, I think most pharmacies will insist on informing patients GPs very soon.

Orangesandlemons77 · 07/10/2024 14:51

I have started out with Voy due to discount, and the extra support and sharps bin and case etc, then have recently ordered from Simple online pharmacy which was great- next day DPD delivery.

Orangesandlemons77 · 07/10/2024 14:52

With Voy you can choose to notify GP or not, think that was the same with Simple pharmacy. I chose to let them tell the GP though.

I feel nervous of leaving voy for some reason! Even though I don’t want to spent way more than I need to!

I know what you mean, they have the extra support and you just get sent it automatically and don't have to order etc - I will give you a tip if you do stay with them, if you click to 'cancel plan' they will give you £50 off your next order.

MissBPotter · 08/10/2024 06:11

Thank you that’s a good tip I might try that first off 😂

User364837 · 08/10/2024 07:01

I wouldn’t like to be sent the pen automatically as have often counter clicks to take a smaller dose trying to find the right balance between effectiveness and side effects. I’ve not done it for cost reasons but it has also meant pens have lasted 6 weeks or so and spread out my payments so it’s only been £122 every 6 wks or so with Zava.
I’d rather not stockpile them in the fridge.
