Mounjaro thread for >6/40kg+ stone weight loss September 2024

I thought it might be useful to start a new thread on this as the ones I have found are from quite a few months ago and building a new little supportive community thread might be helpful for some including me!

I am 5'4" and starting weight was 106kg (I am so sorry - I use both stone/lbs and kilos so might spot me talking using both measures!) and I am nearly 5 weeks into my journey using Mounjaro and just weighed at 94.7kg and currently on 2.5mg and continuing for the second pen as really have high appetite suppression and struggling to maintain calorie intake somewhat. I would love to hear some other people's experiences!

Hi all, I must have missed the second thread being set up. I started at the beginning of July.
Height 166cm
SW: 109kg
CW: 92kg
GW: 68kg for a 'healthy BMI' but I think I will settle for 70-75kg.

I have just requested a 7.5 pen. I've click counted the past few weeks using the bonus to 6.25.

My losses are slowing for sure but I'm ok with this as I'm really worried about loose skin. I have started back at exercise classes and listing weights. I was doing 5miles walking per day until I got my car back at the beginning of October and I had a little slip up with the exercise. How is everyone doing?

I seemed to have lost this thread, how is everyone?

I just weighed myself and I'm now 89.6kg so this is good as has been stable at 91ish for a week or so.

I'm still struggling with going up to 5mg due to some nausea and also feeling like I don't want to eat anything at all, which is good in a way but not in others! So, I've settled at trying to split the dose and doing 2.5mg twice a week from a 5mg pen. (I was unsure whether to do that or 3.75mg a week and still a bit unsure)

Anyway, that seems Ok so far side effects wise. Best of luck to everyone, hope it is going well.

Hi all I've been on mounjaro since August lost 2 stone 9 still 5 stone to lose and still on 5mg till next week when I start 7.5mg.

Hi does anyone have the amount of clicks per dose for titrating up yo 7.5? I have this and used to get up to 5 slowly and want to do the same up to 7.5!

What dose pen are you aiming to get 7.5mg from @Rm2018

I like to work up lol so 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7 then full dose ideally. I did this to go from 2.5 to 5 and worked well 😀

I am 9 weeks in and so happy with how well it has been. I have been quite lucky in that I have had quite good suppression and minimal side effects. My next pen I'd arriving on Wednesday and while I ordered a 7.5 I don't think I want to increase the dose.

On which pen?

@CoolLimeSheep let me know how that goes! I am going up to 7.5mg next time and weirdly a bit disconcerted by it.
I am down 2stone13lbs with 3stone exactly to go.

I will do. Well done on 2 stone 13 loss.im a little scared about going up myself with dizziness and just started working at a leisure centre cleaning so extra busy

I forgot to post I went upto 7.5mg it was pretty strong with nausea but doing OK I'm now 3 stone 6 loss and going to stay on the 7.5mg

Ah yeah I also wento the 7.5 and nausea has been grim (and the sulphur burps!) but feel like it's kicking in again so hoping for weight loss to pick up again. Now down 3stone10lbs but had stalled since mid November🤞

I've gone back to aquafit today. We'll done on your 3 stone 10lbs. I've read were meant to be weight training but I'm unsure wether to lose everything I want lose then weight train coz I like seeing the pounds go down. I did stall for abit too last year. I've still got atleast 4 stone to go. Just not sure where to get advise from

How you all doing now? I'm still on 7.5mg still feeling sicky just 2 stone 8 to go and I'll be healthy bmi woohoo
