Online pharmacy- Anyone been rejected?

Ordered weightloss injections earlier after a lot of thinking about it. Added the picture it asked for and fully expected it to be rejected. It was a really bad picture, not clear, couldnt see my face etc. Also, face completely different to ID photo which is 10 years old. I was being lazy adding a bad picture and fully expected to have to upload a new one tomorrow.

Submitted at 6:40. Twenty mins later it says approved by GP and is being shipped.

Would you be worried if its been checked correctly?
Has anyone's ever been rejected?

Why would you be worried? You know it's you.

I've also used an online pharmacy and uploaded a picture, I used my own current picture but yes I suppose I could have tricked them in some way if I had wanted to. If someone does that, it's on them. Why worry about it?

Yes I agree I'd be both happy they approved and worried they don't conduct checks as advertised because if they did, it shouldn't have been approved. I hope it's a reputable registered provider. If so, I'd let it go but if not, I'd really be worried about what I'm getting.

Which one did you order from? If they could tell your body shape from the picture and the picture was dated the day you applied, then you have demonstrated that you are sufficiently overweight.

Thank you @@MounjaroHereICome that's what I was trying to say.
It is a registered provider and I got the link and discount code off here so it will all be fine, I was just surprised it was approved.

This is interesting- I was going to say why would they need to see your face but then saw about the ID so presumably to match that. That makes sense because I've only ordered from Asda and they only ask you for a photo of your body (don't need to show your face) and of your feet on weighing scales showing your weight.
So I always thought "yeah but I could have taken a photo of anyone, there's no way they know whether that was me or not!" So yours seems like a more stringent check.

I suppose they don't really need a clear photo of your face, just clear enough to show that you are (very roughly because its impossible to tell bmi from a photo) within the right weight to be eligible and that you are close enough to the ID that it's obvious you're not a completely different person.

Tbh I assume the checks are more box ticking so they have enough plausible deniability not to get sued rather than really caring about who gets the treatment- they are a big money earner for minimum effort for them. They sell it as "always having a gp on hand to answer any questions" as well but the only time I ever sent a question they were completely useless and just reiterated the info on the packet.

It must be quite easy to get around them because lots of already very slim celebs have said they've used them - there was something on here a few days ago about Lottie Moss warning people off Ozempic because of the side effects she had -yes because you took a drug that had not been prescribed for you and was never intended for someone like you, idiot!

All the pharmacies really check is if any other medical issues, or medications you declare and if you have the required BMI to be approved (photo help prove this).

Anyone can lie on the forms, not declare known medical issues, lie about BMI etc same if it was a face to face appointment with a pharmacy or private Dr - or even someone visiting their NHS doctor and not sharing information or lying about symptoms. If they do, then that it is on the patient.

Ok I think you'd be fine then, also from what other pp have said.

@easylikeasundaymorn This made me laugh out loud and I agree with you.

Lottie moss also stated she got it from someone and it wasn't above board. Why on earth would she take a weight loss drug I don't know !
