Hi, I'm going camping for four nights. We won't have fridge or electricity so looking for suggestions for foods I can take that are high protein that dont need to be refrigerated.
Any ideas?

One of my festival go-tos is cup noodles topped with tinned mackerel. I use the ones in sauce, usually either BBQ or sweet chilli. We usually have it once for a quick lunch on regular camping trips too.
Eggs don't need to be refrigerated, so make for easy camping protein.
If you have a bit more than the most basic of cooking facilities (ie can use a bigger pan), vege fajitas work well - peppers, tinned mixed beans, fajita kit, and long life squirty sour cream. Avocado is a good addition too. No cheese, sadly, but it is acceptable without!
Pouches of flavoured Merchant Gourmet lentils are great and can be bulked up by frying with some veggies.

Take frozen sausages/ bacon or other bbq stuff. It will defrost slowly in the cool box and help keep it cold. Have that the second day. Take a chilli or similar that you have cooked at home for the first day. Eat out another day and have something long life the other day.
