I did use Wegovey but that made me feel terrible, so Mounjaro is a blessed relief

I've only just started, took my first dose 2.5 on Thursday afternoon, haven't had much appetite at all and didn't manage to eat much, just felt headachey and really thirsty. Feel a lot hungrier today though

Took my third jab on Thursday at 2.5, I've lost 14lbs so far.

The dreaded sulphur burps have hit me and I have been absolutely ill all day, feel sick to my stomach and having the runs. If this continues I can't carry on with these jabs, this is what I was terrified of 😔😭

@SJLO I had to make myself be sick as I couldn't stand the burps and sick feeling. Had the runs this morning but I am feeling better and no more burps, just weak and a little sickly. I hope that doesn't happen again as it was awful

What had you eaten prior? I was eating pizza before first jag haha I am hoping calms down if able to make healthier choices now! Are you using dose or sticking to minimum??

Does anyone know of a supplier who will sell it if you have gallstones? Only found out I have them after a scan for something else, never had any symptoms.

Mounjaro increases the risks of gallstone issues, which is why it's a screening question.

That said, you can take Mounjaro even if you don't have a gallbladder - it just becomes a lot more likely that you'll suffer from side effects.

I’ve been on it for nearly 3 months and not had any side effects so am keen to carry on. Will try calling the pharmacist.

Don't know about Gallstones but I have a history of pancreatitis caused by gallstones and have had my gallbladder out. A couple of places refused me automatically on the basis of the online questionnaire but Superdrug prescribed to me after a human looked at it.

I've had no issues so far and 9lbs down in 2 weeks

@SJLO I'd rated steak mushrooms and sweet potato then an hour later strawberries and bananas. Was all I'd eaten all day and was late so I ended up eating then going to bed which I think caused it

I think that's what it was, along side eating too late and then lying down maybe. Still having loose stools. I'm due my 4th 2.5 tomorrow and definitely feel like I've been able to eat more than the first two weeks so looking forward to going up to 5mg
