Have you gotten ozempic face after big weight loss? I remember when my friend lost loads of weight after gastric band and her face looked bad. She has gained weight since and looks much better.

I need to loose some weight but decided against ozampic because of the side effects and I was afraid I end up looking like my friend did.

I have been wondering the same. There must be an effect on face if you loose several stones.

It's just fat loss like any other weight loss.
It looks so bad on celebs as they've spent years doing botox, fillers, nip and tucks, buccal fat removal etc.
If you want to lose weight for health reasons, do it.

It happens to people who lose a lot of weight in a short window of time, no matter the method. Whether that's Ozempic, Slimming World, or ill health. Go at a steady pace and you should be fine.

It's not really epic face though, is it? It's just a "lost a lot of weight" face and is seen in any weight loss.

"Ozempic face!"

You can't choose where the weight comes off. You'll either need to accept that you will lose weight from your face or stay fat.

My friend aged about twenty years.

And probably extended her life by about 20 years.

Yeah I mean, my face has changed but I am not doing it for my face I am doing it for my internal organs, joints etc. faces just change with any weight loss, you lose facial fat. You can get fillers if it’s an issue. I can’t see how it’s a deal breaker in all honesty. I’m not one for surgery or fillers personally but if I really looked objectively I would also need a boob lift now they are smaller and less full, tummy tuck for loose skin, if I was trying to look young again but I am not I’m trying to stay healthy.

Celebs look different as they have had other work done and in the case of someone like Sharon Osbourne, she was incredibly tiny and realised she lost too much weight but she is also 71 and is inevitably ageing, as all humans do. I think having an awareness of losing too much weight and your BMI being too low is good to bear in mind as it has its own health risks. If you are sensible it probably won’t be too bad.

I think it’s also more striking when you know a person (including knowing the face of a celeb). I doubt you’d pay attention to a random person who had lost the weight if you hadn’t seen them before.
