Tell me about your lovely low key wedding

Or one you've attended. The registrar, all back to ours or restaurant, or local church hall ones.
What did you/the bride and groom wear?
What time was ceremony and meal? Was there a hiatus in between and if so how was it filled?

Mine was arranged in 6 weeks.
Registry office with v small number of people, back to local pub for a late breakfast with some friends.
Decorated venue ourself, 'do' kicked off at 4pm, very family friendly, we provided all food and drink, kids activity area & a face painter. Had a ceileigh, all done and dusted by 11pm and went home.

Not had our yet, it’s next year but we’re having: ceremony in an old ramshackle castle on the beach... walk the 1 mile from ceremony to venue which is all along the seafront,

Reception in the old tennis club come cafe... food is bbq and pimms then dancing.

Registry office, 10 guests (which included 4 children, 2 of which were ours). Music played from the phone. Back to our house for fish, chips and champagne (several cases provided as a gift from a family member) then had friends calling in for drinks and snacks throughout the evening. We didn't even buy rings.
