Routine Sparkles Pokémon Go

New thread. No routes where I am. We're going to be at Pokémon Go Fest on 6 August. V excited.

I've only found one cell so far but it was around 3/4 of my way along the route and appeared as I was walking. It just appeared like the Pokémon do as you walk along.

I've had nine cells and seen two more that vanished as I touched them. My son has had three or four. They've all appeared during the route, not afterwards although there have been a couple that have been very close to the end.

My morning walk is a two route walk with a coffee stop half way around but I'm a fair weather walker so have been slacking this last week.

I got another cell today. In almost exactly the same spot as last time, it's around 200m from the end of the 709m route. I don't know if that's coincidence or they have certain spots they're more likely to spawn.

How lovely to see this thread still going strong more than 7 years after it first started. I don't think I've caught anything interesting lately other than a 100% shadow Mareep which has been evolved into Ampharos and powered up to Level 35.

Sure. The Noxious Swamp event is looking pretty challenging, I think.

I finished three of the raid bits in one go by hanging around for a Druddigon raid where a few other people were joining in; I didn't quite throw any old shit in the battle party for the <2500CP task but I wouldn't have stood a chance of soloing it 😁

The pokémon reward at the end is a Jangmo-o which is OK - I don't have a decent enough Hakamo-o to make it worth evolving yet though.

What about some time during Go Fest Global next weekend? That gives everybody a week to get caught up and ready

Finished the routes quest. Was fun except I got targeted by a pigeon. Did catch a shiny Venonat though.

I'm glad Noxious Swamp didn't lead to anything very exciting. To do that would have been challenging. Still no routes near me....grrr

Don’t worry about coordinating with me. Open whenever suits you. I don’t need the exp. I’m trying not to open gifts from anyone on here atm so I don’t accidentally miss the levelling up as a few are close.

I haven't managed to complete Noxious Swamp. There are not many raids where I live and I haven't been into my office (which usually has a few nearby) while the event has been on. I'm glad I haven't missed too much!

Anyone around who fancies a raid? Groundon for next half hour (kathwithcats, ooheathcliff.)

I'm do to level up with a few folks who I think are on here - would anyone like to coordinegg on Sunday?

I did a primal kygore raid using my only remote raid pass. We won but I didn't catch the kygore😢. Gutted

Don’t worry about coordinating with me. Go for it whenever suits you.

Oh that sucks. Always seems worse with a remote pass, especially if it’s your last.
sorry if I’m teaching you to suck eggs but I assume you know to use a golden razz every time and aim for at least a great curve ball? Also you get more balls if it’s a gym that’s your team colour at the time, you have higher level friends in the raid and your gym badge is higher level too.

If you’ve got a raid local to you with a couple of friends willing and ready to join I’ve found the campfire host raid can be ok. Depending on the raid you may have to wait a while for a team.

I still prefer the go raid party app (others are available) to find a team as you don’t have to wait for 5 if you already have some friends lined up or it’s a low raid you could solo. You can look for a raid on a gym your team colour. Plus if looking for a raid team to join you often get added to raids miles away so it can help your distance trading badge if you do end up with rubbish iv’s. The campfire seems determined to find ‘local’ trainers and you have to wait for a full party of 5.

That does suck. It's happened to me twice with Rayquaza. Incredibly frustrating.

@newroundhere am happy to try to coordinate but am going to horse show Sunday so it may not work.

@gillybean2 , gym badges help with raids? How, exactly? Does it help if you have a high level badge even if your team isn't currently in control at the gym?

Kyorge is so difficult I still need to get one. Will try on Saturday hopefully

I can do Saturday too provided it's before 1pm or 1.15 at a push. Or Sunday after 2pm?
