Routine Sparkles Pokémon Go

New thread. No routes where I am. We're going to be at Pokémon Go Fest on 6 August. V excited.

I remember the early days of raids when businesses would be very confused by groups of 10+ people standing outside all doing that. 🤣

Bit of subtle thumb action... Nothing to see here.

DH told me a fun story the other day. He was coming home from a day out and saw these two husky lads meandering along the path. Then suddenly one of them veered off the path and shouted joyfully to his mate 'There's a Sawk over here!'

And now anytime I see people bent over their phones together, I just pretend they are all playing Pokémon Go.

I've seen a few quite unlikely people taking over gyms!

Thanks for the lucario invites, I've got enough mega energy to evolve mine now. Family day out this afternoon, so I thought I was going to miss out completely. 🥳

I'm thecrazyonesmum on pogo - I should be marked as online when I am, but not always that good at getting there on time even when I'm online! I should be free after 8 tonight if there's any around later.

I FINALLY hatched a Charcadet today. Feels like I've been waiting forever and I've been through SO many eggs.

Woohoo, congrats. Now you just need to walk it forever to get the candy to evolve it. And then decide into which form and hope you can find someone to battle with…. Good luck!

If you're doing go battle league at the moment it's worth bearing in mind that charcadet only needs to be your buddy, not part of your battle team when you beat the types you need. I found I got through them quite quickly.

If anyone needs any company for a mega salamence or a xerneos (or whatever it is - antlers are getting in the way of the name) raid I'd love an invite!

How is everyone getting on with their Pogo goals/targets?

I’m finally on the last million miles of my pilot badge (Distance of all Pokemon trades). I reckon I probably need to hatch and trade around 70-100 more 7k eggs to get there…

After that I need to decide if I want to work on training/battle badges or best buddy.
Of the 22 badges I still need to get to platinum 6 are register Pokemon from specific regions which aren’t available and another 2-3 I don’t really have any control over progressing. So only 13-14 I can choose to actually work on.

I'm pretty rubbish at trading, so pilot is my very lowest placed badge (354/ 10 000 000). There's quite a few where if I keep playing at the current rate it'll be another year or two. Lots I'm not sure if I'll ever get there!

I get impatient sometimes, but I quite like the fact it can't be 'completed' too quickly, if ever.

I thought you couldn't trade unless you are standing right next to the person. Is that wrong?

It's where you caught/ hatched the Pokémon from that counts towards distance. Eggs from distant friends are the only way to get a decent distance if you don't travel much,as they count as the distance the egg came from.

There probably is a cheat for doing trades remotely as people advertise Pokémon online, but I have no idea how that would actually work!
