New thread. No routes where I am. We're going to be at Pokémon Go Fest on 6 August. V excited.

I can't complete the research without catching Dialga, so I'll be stuck with that task until I do, unless it vanishes at the end of the season.

If I manage to get DH and DD out for a party and we come across a Dialga raid, I will definitely invite you 🙂

I have just spent the last of my coins on the pass, caught Dialga and then realised it's not origin form. I assumed if you were following that path and went to the raid, then you'd get the right one. Looking around now there are a bunch of Palkia origin form roads and one for a normal Palkia. I had no idea both would be available, so never checked how they should look in advance.

I think I'll just minimise the research and pretend it doesn't exist now!

The short time I had to play today only the 1 hour whilst dd was at her rollerskating class were productive managed to find a few shinies including azlef and a origin palkia with the special rend move and then on way home a pink sneasel 😊. I think looking at other friends today was a better one for shinies.

Wow, they’ve finally introduced an option to put a lucky egg on when you level up friendship. Not sure if that’s across the board yet or if I’m a tester. I seem to get new features ahead of them being fully rolled out.

When I got it a 'Use A Lucky Egg' button appeared with a picture of a Lucky Egg at the bottom of the screen - this is when the levelling up screen comes up

I have that too! Fab idea, and we'll miss less double XP chances now. I have a lot of PoGo friends in Japan who I don't have any way of knowing who they are so we've never been able to coordinate. I'm also the worst at forgetting to check and accidentally opening gifts without checking with the other side, so that will help them from me doing that too.

And well done on levelling up @SneakyGremlin I'm on level 46 and still only have 1 fully powered up Pokémon for the task. I started this level with absolutely no XP and I now have more than twice the amount to level up, it's just this bloody task that's holding me back.

@gillybean2 I think we're due to level up today, does that mean I can just open anytime, rather than trying to co-ordinate? It's so wet and miserable today I'm trying to work up the enthusiasm to go out and do it at the same time as my 7 day streak pokestop spin!
