Thank you! I went on the boat trip before realising the cafe wasn't there! And you can only do 1 boat trip a day so I'm going to time travel to tomorrow to find him!

Cafe is talk to Blathers (you need your museum at least partly upgraded) - then do your Kappa Island and Brewster will be on that island - Blathers again... next day the museum's closed for refurb and it opens after that.

Now have the stuff to make ALLLLLL the new villager amiibos - there's my productivity gone for the weekend!

If you've got a smartphone that has NFC on it (for Apple Pay and the like) then yes there's a way to write your own onto NFC215 tags.
Learning to do it saved me hours of torment when the kids accidentally let villagers they then decided they loved leave.

I know!! So exciting! I got woken at 3am with my phone blowing up with notifications on YouTube! I've not played yet, but I'm loving seeing it all on social media, everyone is enjoying it so much.

Oh yay! I just ordered some lol roll (I don't have many points 🤣).

My internet sucks so bad, I just checked the download status and it's still only 37% ..it's going to be hours 😭

Are you the main resident? Did you set up the island? Is your island 3*?

It seems to be that the primary resident, whoever first set the island up, gets Brewster. But you need to be at 3* (have KK slider unlocked) as well.
