Ah sorry forgot to say you have to load the game on the switch and go to the options menu (before the island loads) with Tom nook and choose ‘nook link’ to unlock the other features

Hello, I have been playing on my son's island for ages (very frustrating, he doesn't like me changing stuff so the bridges and rivers are in weird places!). The one thing I would like is the different fruits - we have peaches and apples. Anyone got cherries, pears or oranges that I could visit? I haven't done visiting islands before (other than mystery islands) so not really sure what to do...
