I went villager hunting yesterday but didn't find anyone I liked - I will see who turns up today I have some amiibo cards so it's easy to get rid of ones you don't like

Ugh my island has been downgraded back to 4 star! apparently because I have stuff everywhere that needs tidying! I definitely do not, it’s all arranged!!! I’m so annoyed at Isabelle!! She was the one who told me to cover the island in decoration in the first place!!!

That's happened to me @louloulemons. It was because I had too many diy recipes and tree branches lying around. I think I had dropped some furniture for storage rather than place it too. Once I picked them up I was back to 5* again. It was a pain as there's nowhere to stor diys!

Ahh I’ve put all my spare diys on the beach for visitors! Bet that’s what it is!!

@louloulemons I had the same problem! I had dropped a load of diys and items for people to pick up and I got downgraded. So annoying you can’t store them and then get them out when people visit.

@louloulemons yes I agree, it's "dropped" stuff rather than "placed" stuff.

One island from this thread which I visited recently had a great way to avoid this while still offering DIYs - log tables and benches all covered with DIYs. So long as you drop them on something other than the ground, you're OK.

I have some customised stalls on my beach for my giveaways (but the log tables and benches were a better approach for a higher volume of stuff).

I'm got a cafe bit that I just can't get the right fencing for. I just want black iron fencing. Damn you Tom Nook let me customise my fence!!

What you want is the spooky fencing from the autumn DIYs. Can either time travel to get it (I think you bought the set from the Nooklings) or ask for someone to make you that. Black iron, slight pumpkin design but not too in your face.

I finally got Hamphrey which I'm happy with.

Almost half way through moving my villagers houses and I had to take a break, was getting cramp in my legs from sitting so long, so deep cleaned the kitchen because that was a break compared to moving houses!

Anyone want some pumpkin plants? I want to get rid of some of mine to make some space.

Does anyone else get hung up on little details? I'm trying to do an area and I know it's missing something but just don't know what!
