I've never time travelled before but debating it so I can get a bit more done (it's a pain waiting for things to move and items to come) Is it easy to do?

Yeah it's really simple, just make sure you don't have any turnips on your island. Then just save and exit the game, go to system settings to time and date and turn off Internet sync and then just choose when you're travelling to.

My island is such a dump compared to other ones I've seen!! I'm going to tryvan make it a bit more islandy and put together over the weekend.. Tom Nook just gave me the island designer app so I think I'll be able to start doing paths etc. I supposr its a matter of picking one but of the island at a time and trying to improve it! I'm actually going to nerd out completely and purchase the game guide!!!

Get yourself on you tube and Pinterest. There are so many great ideas on there for free. Including custom design codes. Custom designs and simple panels can totally change an area cheap and easy.
