Festival area finished! The main arena with giant flashy peacocks Tomorrowland would be proud of, and the camping ground / food court. I'm feeling irrationally pleased with myself

I am finally getting my very own Nintendo tomorrow after getting fed up with my 5YO destroying everything nice on our island. So I'm having my own island where my trees and novelty items can be safe.

@Moomoolandmoomooland Of course you can join in! I know that pain, last year I had my nephews for a couple of days and let them play with my Switch. They sold everything of value to Tommy & Timmy, chopped down all my trees and pulled up all my flowers

(it did keep them quiet for a couple of hours though, so silver linings!)

Nooooo!

We set the island up on DS profile, so he is the main character that has to do everything. He filled every custom design with his 'creations'. He spends all of his money on clothes and random objects and then complains his house is tiny and he has no storage.

I'll be so happy to have my own little space. I've already been follow lots of videos on you tube for ideas.

Anyone got decent turnip prices this morning?

Nope mine are 89 :( .... on another subject, can anyone help with using custom designs on paths? I got the app today to make paths, change landscapes etc so am silly-excited 😊. But I had read that you can customise paths and make your design transparent so the bricks show through by having one grey stripe pixel in your design....but it's not working. Can anyone help pls? My DC can't help as they're not as far a long in the game as me 😁

Yep.

There's one price 8am - 12pm and another after 12pm.

We haven't got the ability to travel but almost considering buying the annual pass thing just for this!

I enjoyed the festival. Our island is 3 star and we are just beginning to work on making some different areas. I'm thinking of putting the estival stuff into an area somewhere.
