Woohoo just caught a shiny Magikarp. Now for the epic trek to try and evolve it!

@peppinana I have loads of magicarp and am trying to evolve one bit does the shiny one evolve into something different?

Shiny magikarp still evolves into a Gyarados. But it's a lovely red shiny one instead of boring greenly/blue

I'm TeamW, I'm about to go utlra with chellybop and madlovy, happy to wait until the CD for the xp, I don't get on pogo as much as I'd like anymore (combination of living in a rural area and having a new job with less walking commute), so apologies to the players who havent received gifts from me for a while.

Well, on the hunt for a whismur I was out this morning while it was cloudy (weather boost) and put a lure on and nothing. So guess I'll be waiting til the end of the water festival.
I so want a shiny Karp.

I caught this executor this morning and thought the game had a huge glitch to begin with. I am miles away from a gold medal for the new challenge. I need another 26 pokemon. No wishmur here either.

Got one whinsmur on Saturday- no sign of any since. Annoyed but I still have 9km of freebas to walk off.

I’m trying to do to many things at once (only recently started replaying with a new account) so have loads of special research tasks. Have decided to focus on one at a time as then I have a chance of actually finishing one so am putting the Feebas and whinsmur in hold and back to ‘a mythical discovery’. I haven’t been many places recently so apologies that I haven’t sent many gifts.

Pleasantly surprised to see two new pokestops within five minutes' walk from my house pop up in the last couple of days! There was just nothing before!

I've seen none at all @JustLooking2019. I had one already so am walking with that but haven't caught any more. I did see one as the raid battle Pokémon but I couldn't get over to the gym to battle it.

Got a shiny magikarp today!

It's quite a slot to evolve them isn't it, even at the rate they're around right now! Almost 200 candies and still only halfway there!

Gh621 thank you for adding me - right after posting my trainer code I had an issue with my phone and can only play on my tablet which makes it harder to play when out.

I'll send gifts when I can though and sorry to my other friends who I'm opening gifts from and not reciprocating. They've added new stops and gyms near where I live so I'll go out when I can.
