Not a bad CD for me, 6 shinies although none with decent IVs. I could only play for about half as had family stuff this afternoon, not hugely fussed about Torterra though. I'm hearing rumours from the data miners that October CD will be Trapinch.

Didn’t manage to play for long on community day. Got 1 shiny though and enough candy to evolve a turtwig I already had.

Did get a shiny clamperl and a shiny pineco last night too.

I played for two hours during CD yesterday but only got three shinies - not brilliant ones. Hatched a lot of mildly nice things (Alolan Vulpix is pretty and I didn’t have one) but nothing thrilling. And still no bloody Ditto grinds teeth

Hi everyone, do you mind me joining you? I have recently started playing again as got bored the first time as live rurally. It's got quite exciting now as we have more Pokestops and four gyms. I enjoyed yesterday, managed two shiny turtwig. Enjoying all the challenges.

Managed 7 turtwig on CD but the best one is 82. And the normal one is only 93. Not earth shattering but it'll have to do.

After having another crap event with no shinies, I got a bronzor and a kabuto last night. Feel a lot happier now.

Gen 5 is out tonight and shiny mewtwo tomorrow so hopefully a good week for everyone.

Have some new pokemon been released? I caught a cherubi yesterday and then saw a blue squirrel type in a gym that I have never seen before.

Mind if I join in? Recently got back into it myself. Currently living in the Middle East so there are many more poké stops popping up than before but there aren’t that many people that I know who are into it. I was quite sad that I couldn’t get enough people to battle Rayquaza or armed Mewtwo

@BaronessBomburst I hope Silke106 got to Level 40 yesterday. I noticed he triggered besties at exactly 1115. :o I played for about 2 hours yesterday until my battery ran out and so missed out on catching Cherubi. I didn't mind as I was with friends I hadn't seen for a bit so wandered about with them until after the event.

Shadows!!! Too late to go out....

I’m seeing shadows!

Ooh! I can see a bird like thing and a hamster like thing (shadows). Can't play properly until weds now either. Argh!

I hate that event starts are always 9pm for us (in the UK anyway, sorry, I know some of you are elsewhere) as it means that I have to wait until the next day. There's shadows and I want to chase them!

One of my neighbours lives four houses along and can reach a gym and loads of spawn points from his sofa. He's got several new Pokémon already.

I can reach 5 spawn points which so far have delivered a rattata, a meowth, an aipom, an aron, and a misdreavus.
It's not fair!

I got one of these from my sofa!
