I had a couple of weird ones like that over the last few weeks, I never figured it out either.

Bestie logged in as me and her pokegenie is saying 73 IV, which sort of makes sense with that appraisal.

DS and I have exactly the same 100% zigzagoon. He PokieGenied it yesterday and it came up as 96%. The poor sausage stood there looking shocked with his heart in his mouth until I realised it'd put the ticks in the wrong boxes. We corrected in manually and it went back to 100%.
And my PG keeps ticking 'attack' whether Candela says it or not.

@BaronessBomburst any thoughts on when you want us to go ultra? Just planning a mass evolve to go along side it.

Can I ask a stupid question?

If you are evolving, does a good pokemon evolve into a good evolved one (if that makes sense) or do they just randomly get assigned new stats?

They'll keep their IV and stats

Have I just experienced a glitch?

I went to do a solo raid, joined it and then there were suddenly two extra people in the raid. Two instinct members. Yet no one was there...and I hadn’t joined a private group and they hadn’t joined mine either

Took down the raid easier than I would have done on my own so they were definitely playing

Spoofers probably.

But how did they get into my raid?

Don’t you need to use a code to join a raids as a group

Because you said you didn't create a private group, they probably just joined to main raid lobby, where you were waiting for the raid to start.

If there was no one around, they may have been inside any nearby buildings or may have been spoofers.

A lot of people round here raid from their cars. Some of us are made of hardier stuff :o

There's a spoofer who appears regularly in raids local to us. If the others in the group see him they leave the lobby and make a private group. He obviously spoofs in the USA too, based on the pokes he puts in the gyms. Unowns and lumilees usually.
Oh, and an ugly thing from New Zealand.

I am insanely excited by the machops!
I have nearly 577 candies and am mincing anything under 90% IV. It must have a decent CP too.
I've not had a single shiny though.
I really want a pistachio monkey.
