I’ve held my local gym for a long time, Tallulah, but I think 39 days is a record!

WitchSharkadder 39 days isn’t actually that long. It’s quite common to lose a Pokemon for months and months if the gym isn’t very active.

witch I moved to a nearby (very small) city. I walked pretty much the length of it, this morning, to find 2 of the 3 raids I still needed.

Ended out breaking out the incense, after dinner, for those anorith.

Ds2 burned through 2 od them, then one spawned by the stop on the corner. I can reach it on WiFi (his account is on a phone with no sim, so we usually hot-spot) I checked it was no longer pissing down then raced out only to fall foul of the moat at the end of the drive!

Ha! We have a couple od stops in the area that don't even have pictures, baroness! They just have the red question mark.

You don't nerd to spend money. I just spend gym coins or Google opinion rewards.

I use my gym coins on boxes. That way I keep a supply of incubators, a few extra raid passes, incense etc. Occasionally I have to buy balls. I'd love to change my outfit but can't justify the 'cost'.
DS blows his coins on clothes, then can't hatch eggs.
We have got quite good at strategically placing Pokémon in gyms to make sure we get 50 coins a day, whilst minimising on revivers. Either that or we chuck in pokes we were planning on transferring anyway.
Dog walkers are very reliable for taking over gyms at the same time every day!

I couldn't manage to do the raids before last night's spawns ended. I'm trying to tell myself I don't need a meltan anyway and will just finish the set of tasks as and when the opportunity arises to catch those unusual ones. I've still got an aerodactyl in my stacked encounters so that's at least something!

for people who haven’t completed Let’s Go Meltan, Omanytes, Kabutos and Aerodactyl are all now available as raid bosses so, if you have Scyther candies (or get walking with Scyther) you might still have a reasonable chance of getting one before Christmas.

Is this event thing over now? I am stuck on the "catch 5 Exeggute". no hope of ever finishing now! Discrimination against those of us who live in the suburbs and don't go into a bit city often...

PiperPublickOccurrences Yes, it finished last night at 9pm.

It’s not discrimination The event lasted just under two weeks, which is plenty of time. They’re also not taking the task off anyone who didn’t finish; you still get the opportunity to complete it, it will just take a bit longer.

They can’t have events last forever and a day just to appease a minority!

The community day extravaganza event is starting this weekend anyway so the event couldn’t have continued any longer.

As an aside, what do we think is a fair length of time to give a fellow mnetter a chance to reply? I don't think it's unreasonable if you've given it several days, to then do it unilaterally, is it? With no other way of making contact, it is very hard.

It is difficult, Betty. I’ve always given people a week so far which I think is more than fair.

I currently have 2 people who I’m 2 days from levelling up with, we’re holding onto gifts from each other but not opening them in order to see who opens first then the other can trigger the following day iyswim.
I’ve given both of them loads of shout outs on here but have no reply. Im not going to crack first.

Have raid bosses changed? Saw a wailmer and onix today.
