Yes. The second a gift is opened on the right day, the XP bonus will be triggered for both parties.

You may be able to put a lucky egg on in time if you know they’ve opened it while you’ve not been in game and you’re quick, but not always.

Bellebp That’s because they don’t send notifications when you’re about to go up a friendship level. You’re meant to keep an eye on it yourself.

Trapinchs are all I'm getting from 10k at the moment too - very disappointing.
imnotstarting we become best friends later this week so would be good to coordinate eggs please?

I lurk on this thread because I'm a casual player. I have added some people from this thread as friends, but I wouldn't appreciate a shout out / commanding message to coordinate eggs, largely because this could be outing. Anyone think of a better way to coordinate? I personally don't care if I don't get to put a lucky egg on, but some do.
