I'm still hoping for a Tauros too. I've hatched every other possible Pokémon from the event eggs and still no tauros! It's the only one I actually need!

Have you lot seen the announcement? Gen 4 is coming!

Perhaps even bigger news, we will also be seeing:

• weather will have a reduced effect on Pokémon
• places like parks and nature reserves will have more varied Pokémon species
• greater amount of Pokémon spawning at different rates
• cp values to be rebalanced
• effect of defense on cp will be reduced to reduce the gap between different Pokémon

I caught loads of Abras today, and 2 Kadabra. There was also an Alakazam on my nearby. 1st time I've seen either of the latter 2 in the wild.

pottypotamus Every Pokemon has an individual IV percentage that denotes how good they are. The higher their stats (attack, defense and stamina) the higher their IV. The higher the IV, the better they are in battle.

A Pokemon’s CP is not an indicator of how good they are, so a high CP doesn’t mean they’re good. When you appraise a Pokemon in game, you get an idea of how good it is. The top IV appraisals are wonder (blue/mystic), simply amazes (red/valour) and battle with the best (yellow/instinct) - if it starts with that the Pokemon is in the top tier and is between 82% and 100% IV.

To narrow down a Pokemon’s IV, we use an app called PokeGenie. You input the in game appraisal and it gives you an accurate IV percentage.

Personally, I don’t keep any Pokemon under 90% as I feel anything below is far too low.

No date has been set for a Halloween event either.

He’s 16, WhatTo. Apparently, he is thinking 23rd/24th as that’s when the current Mewtwo raids end and that would be a good time for Giratina to take over as Raid boss. Its also a week before Halloween and good timing for a staggered release with a ghost type only event (Giratina is a ghost type too) before full release a couple of weeks later.

I'm guessing Hallowe'en for the start of a phased gen 4 too. I had thought that before the news last night and they don't tend to keep you waiting too long when something is actually announced.

I'm ready. My only gaps are regionals and one of the Regis (demand for raids for them was low so didn't get many chances to catch the tricky blighter). Currently walking Blissey for candy. Can now evolve my 96% Chansey that I caught in bed the other week . I'm just grinding through the early stages of L38 aiming for about 250,000 xp per week with little novelty to liven it up. Not got many inspiring, quality pokemon to be worth evolving other than just grinding for XP. I'm actually missing pidgey for the easy evolutions 🤣

Apologies to people I've missed with eggs, this week - I've not managed to get out very much so I'm limited to what i can pick up on a quick local walk.
