Sims 2/3/4 players!

My name is collywobbles and I am a sims addict!

I have been playing the sims for nearly 20 years, in late 2000, can't believe it's been that long.

Anyways, I wondered how many other sim addicts are out there and if so, if they fancy sharing what they are up to in their games and so forth.

One thing I love about the franchise is just when I think I know everything about the game, I discover something new!

Currently playing the sims 3 at the moment, after months of the sims 4. I like the sims 4 but I like challenging play and the sims 4 is just too darn easy sometimes.

Love this thread! I typically play sims 3 but since DS arrived I am playing real life instead haha.
Haven't ever used mods before. The asylum one sounds really interesting. What else is there?

My Sims 3 on origin suddenly says I own less of the packs. I own them all... Anybody know why?

@ShreddedFeet I play the sims 2 on my windows 8.1 laptop. You can still play the games its just that the graphics wont be as good as its not programed for the graphics cards used today. But apart from that it will still run just fine.

I absolutely LOVE Sims!
My dad bought me the original when it first came out and each weekend that I stayed at his house he'd just sit me in the corner of his workshop and let me play 8 hours of Sims while he worked...
When my sister told me she was getting married last year, she asked if I could do her a Sims wedding, I build it, she plays it. Just like we did when we were younger! I'd spend ages building an amazing house and family, then she'd take over.
Haven't played for a while but I always want to play again. Haven't tried Sims4 yet.

Shredded, if you're running Windows 10 and that's why you can't play it any more, all you need to do is send an email or open a live chat with EA on their website. The CDs don't work with Windows 10 but if you explain this to them, they will ask you to prove you own the CDs by sending a photo with a number they give you written on it and then they'll send you a download link for Sims 2 with all expansion packs for free in a digital version which works with Windows 10. They did this as they don't support the earlier versions any more. It's what I've done and I'm a bit sad that I can't pick and choose expansions any more, but it is nice to have everything so in many ways this set up is also better.

You can sort out the graphics issues easily as well, because it's true newer cards just aren't recognised by the game so it defaults to the lowest graphics - see here:
