Took down a gym this morning that had cp10 (presumably) shuckle in it. It was already down to cp8, when I got there. The bugger still tok 3 goes to get rid of.

Surprisingly, it didn't do any damage at all to my gyarados.

I just hatched a Skarmory from a 10k egg. Bastard. I want to wring its neck.

Just hatched my first Tyrogue and this morning DD hatched her first Chansey. Much better than a Sudowoodo (and I'll ignore the Spinarak I hatched today too )

Tried another Entei raid, 5 of us managed it with just seconds to go but couldn't catch it.

Today I hatched 2 5km eggs; both were Pinecos. A 2km hatched an Exeggute. Oh well, at least I have a gold medal for 500 eggs hatched.

Seeing as the event is offering triple XP for new 'Mon I'll chuck a Lucky Egg on Saturday and get the new ones first for 6x XP. Looking forward to new 'Mon, it's been ages since I got new additions.

DoctorTwo forgot it was triple XP for new Pokemon! Did a lucky egg session this afternoon, and evolved two new ‘mon- Porygon 2 and Politoed wish I had remembered to save them for the weekend!

A double stardust event is much better than a double XP event; stardust is just so rare. So I'm really happy about that

The new spawns in 2km eggs is also going to be brilliant.

Surprisingly, it didn't do any damage at all to my gyarados.

Why is that surprising? Gyarados is one of the best Pokemon in the game, almost god-tier, and Shuckle is one of the worst in the game (for comparison, Shuckles Max CP is 300, while Gyarados is 3281!), so I would be exceptionally surprised if it managed to knock even one hit point off your Gyarados.

If you are fighting a pokemon that has full or nearly full motivationnit alway takes three goes. It makes no odds if it's a 3000 blissey or a 10cp pidgey

BTW. I've been using a go-tcha and been really liking it but it's stopped working. I can charge it and program it as usual but it won't sync with pokemon go. My old go+ still works ok. I'm wondering if Niantic has hexed it.

I took down an 8CP slugma today. I'm hard-core

Hatched a strong dratini from a 10k egg on my run. Always welcome! Frustratiningly, out of 18k run, the go plus only picked up about 10k. The battery came up as low level so I don't know if that's a factor in addition to a few points where I realised it needed reconnecting. That's a buddy candy and an egg missed out

I'm glad a proper event accessible to all had finally come up. I've felt the monotony recently.

Glad I've been too lazy to do my lucky eg session. Need to decide which of my 3 mareep to evolve into a flaafy. Not quite enough candy for amphoros, yet.

Since Ampharos is the best electric in the game behind Zapdos, if you don't have a Mareep over 90% IVs that's a high CP, I would suggest waiting.

It's a Pokemon you definitely want to make sure you have the best of the best because it's so good.

What. Ahh, I see what you mean. I assumed it was a very slightly demotivated 10CP 'mon - if not then it would definitely not taken three battles even if you attached it with the crappiest 10CP mon

I've managed to get gold badges for three of my local gyms and the extra 3 bonus items is a better bonus that I thought it would be. I'm not sure why but it's very satisfying spinning the stop and get 6 or 7 or 8 or more items. It's made me more determined to get gold badges for my other local gyms.

They took roughly 13-15 days worth of defending, between 210 and 250 'victories' and between 230 - 400 treats. 🙃

Another quick post re problems with pairing my Go-tcha. I thought it had got hexed by niantic but all I had to do (iOS) was to go to system settings - Bluetooth forget Pokémon go plus

I found the answer on Reddit. Phew! The go-tcha is fab and Id have missed it if it wouldn't work.

I have plenty of space for eggs so roll on the event ones! Hatched a Mantine and Ponyta today, at least with the Ponyta it gave me enough candies for another Rapidash but I did swear at the Mantine.
