Got Entai today :) Finally joined a strong raid group a couple of weeks ago.

Missed out on Lugia, really hope he comes back some time.

Only need regionals, Machamp and, weirdly, Venusaur from gen 1. Only one catch away from Machamp, and have 73 candy for Venusaur. Could use rare candy but feels a bit extravagant.

Gen 2, missing Togepi, Hitmontop, unown, Ampharos. Think that's it.

Now you've joined a raid group you can probably get Machamp and Venosaur from raids

Machamp is essential for fighting Blissey and Snorlax so make sure you evolve your best Machop!

The glitch I had today was annoying. I'd entered a raid (against Bayleef) and every time the clock got to zero I got error. 7 bloody times! In the end I just gave up, so that was a wasted Raid Pass.

Argh, DoctorTwo that's really irritating

How long will it take them to release a patch to deal with it?

I've had the raid error too. My local group says it's something to do with time settings? I've not checked it out yet. I'm still feeling a bit bored to the point where I missed a couple of days of spinning pokestops to keep a streak. Hopefully the return to school and renewed independence from Thursday will revive my interest.

I've caught enough Magikarp to evolve my second Gyrados now. I'm also close to hatching a 10k egg... I've not encountered much but 5k for a while. Hopefully now I can get some running milage up, I can speed up the egg hatching which has been slow work over the holidays.

There does seem to be a problem with date/time sync on Android, the way my local group fix the error is to toggle autodate/time off, restart phone, toggle it back on. If it doesn't fix it, or you have an iPhone that's set to auto, it's probably a different glitch.

I bought a PoGo plus on my lunch break, so far caught a few mon from my desk and looking forward to trying it out walking :)

The glitch outfit stayed with me for ages - I had to restart the game to return to normal.

I'm turning my phone off and on before every raid and so far that's doing the trick for me.

I leveled up to level 39 last night. I savoured the moment and triggered the level up with an excellent curve ball pidgey catch 😂😂. I thought it was fitting. 🐥

Now that I've got 5,000,000 to go until level 40 I'm changing tactics a bit so that I'm no longer going to do regular mass evolves and am just just going to hoard candy until there is a double XP event (Halloween maybe?).

Oh and it's believed Mewtwo has a 6% base catch rate, so while it's a lot harder to get into the raids, it's easier to catch once you're in.

I'm languishing on 33, 34 seems so far away i can't see me ever getting to 40!

Ioc. I'm not sure I can ever see myself getting to level 40 either 😭. At my current rate I guess it will take another 4 or more months

I'm not sure reaching level 39 is an achievement or not. I think it might just be a sign of having too much time on my hands and having a very slightly obsessive personality.

I've still only spent less than £13 on the game but have decided that I'll spend more if I need to buy raid passes. I've been doing raids on quite a casual basis so far but don't want to miss out on MewTwo.

In other news we've just ordered an Nintendo Switch from John Lewis for DS. He keeps telling me that he is really, really excited about it. It's sweet seeing that he is a 24 year old Phd student. 😂

L39 is a fairy story, I don't believe that there is anything beyond the endless reaches of L34. I keep telling myself that if I hadn't stopped playing for three months then I'd be that much further on and although this is quite true there's nothing much I can do about it now.

Well done on level 39. Not long got to 30 so I fear it could be years before I make the late 30s.

Starting to get out and about more now, had a few hatches, nothing too exciting though, and been at some raids again. Hoping I can get to an Entei raid when I'm out tonight if anyone else here is free for it. :)

One is rubbish, but the other is actually okay - 69%!

So I turned him into a red Gyarados Gonna have to change his fast move to Dragon Tail though.

Honestly, what are the chances of finding two Shiny Magikarp in such quick succession!

Got my Entei and IV 86%, not bad for my first one and caught it at my second raid attempt.

Well done on two shinies together! Still haven't even seen one, but I'm not very close to water so have to travel to get them normally. :(

Thanks guys! I get a lot of water Pokemon near me but I've never seen a shiny magikarp before; I'm currently on holiday at the moment so definitely worth it
