It looked like a new thread was needed, so here it is, all shiny and pristine.

Omg! Can't wait to get out. I am too scared to look at my phone in case there is an Aerodactyl out there and I can't go and get it!

Just caught two slugmas in bed. Both with pinap berries. Ooh so excited. Only ever seen two onix now showing at near local pokestop and I already have millions of metal coats. Eek! Properly excited about the game for the first time in a while.

Caught an Onix in my bed this morning! And rushed out last night to catch a Rhyhorn, two Slugma's, a Shuckle and a Kabuto.

I have also caught my first wild onix and a magcargo which was new to me. I am liking this event quite a bit! And with only needing 1.25km for a dratini candy, I should have my dragonair by the end of this event! Only 32 candy to go!

Geodudes! Kabutos! Omanytes! Rhyhorn! Shuckles! And, er, Slugmas!

I only went for a little walk and I caught tons. I have some work to do and I resent it, I want to get out.

There are so many out there! Caught loads last night, got back in and larvitar was showing at the local stop, but too tired to go out for it. Finished walking the onix yesterday too... walked dratini to power up my dragonite, which has stopped at 2995. Now walking snorlax for a bit to get some more candies to power him up.

I walked to school and got a lift home and got almost 2 candies. I usually pick the kids up in the car Friday afternoon's today they can walk.

My buddy that was -0.3 last night was 0.4 when I put it on this am odd ?

Only caught a ryhorn I want lavitars.

Noticed that my Togepi had extra candies when I woke up caught a rubbish CP shuckle, about 5 slugmas (only two candies away from evolving now) and a load of geodude gravellers. Hatched a 10k egg and got a dratini. Grrrrrrr. Not even a good one cp of less than 500.

Also has anyone noticed price of pokecoins and balls have halved? Only 50 pokecoins to buy 20 balls. 200 coins to buy 100 etc. Plus cost of 100 coins has gone down from 99p to 79p.

I've been saved A LOT of walking on my Kabuto! It was on about 33 candies at 5k per candy. I've caught a few this morning, used some pinaps, and now have about 66 candies

Now on porygon. I've only had two which were around Valentine's day, and I have the evolution item, so it seems worth taking advantage of the reduced mileage to walk it up as it's an unusual one to catch.

Caught another Onix. One more and I can evolve Steelix, so hopefully I can do that in the next week.

Rhyhorn and Geodude are always welcome.

Caught a Kabutops this morning and enough Slugma to get Macargo, waiting for DS to be home from school to evolve. Hatched a Larvitar yesterday too so hope to get more of them. Walking Dratini and need 40 candy, so about 50km, not sure I'll get all the way but I'll give it a go.

Caught enough Slugma this morning to evolve Magcargo.

And I FINALLY hatched a Tangela from a 5k egg - I'm assuming I picked the egg up during the grass event.

Caught only my second Kabuto, but I can see plenty around so hopeful of getting enough for Kabutops by the end of the event, so I'm going to carry on walking my Chansey, then move on to Dragonair.

Missed two magcargo with the go plus but slugma seem plentiful so hopeful I can evolve one. Caught a kabuto and a omanyte and can now evolve steelix and rhydon but I might wait to see if I can get any better onixes or rhydons. No sign of aerodactyl or larvitar yet :)

I wish id left it and evolved. you get 2000 xp with a lucky egg but only 600 for catching a new one.

Have you noticed the pokestop message has changed.

it now says walk closer to interact with this pokestop!

@FreeNiki says the same for gyms too!

I caught a magcargo and thought I it was an omystar combined with Slugma

I seem to have an Omanyte invasion in my house. Also caught an Onix and three Kabutos without leaving my desk.

Loving this event! I got 26 items for my pokestop 7 day streak

Pokémon has a very sick sense of humour. I chased Kabutos all day and when I was within 2 candy of evolving, I caught a Kabutops!

I now have enough Omanyte and Geodude candy for a couple of levels of power ups, and I hatched a Tyrogue which takes me to 3 candies away from my Hitmontop, and a Magby, which is the last of the babies for me.

Grimer is also looking a lot healthier, candy wise. I love the 4x candy speed thing!

Why did this have to happen on a weekend of truely apocalyptic weather? I was soaked to the skin before I'd gone a hundred yards and had to run back to the car.

Never mind. I've been stuck at home for 2 days with a poorly boy. I'm down to my last 100 balls!

I was thinking about the weather earlier...
The plan: 5k run with po go plus...
The reality: po go plus not connecting. Battered handset out in the rain. Kept missing because wet screen kept interfering wasting lots of balls. Legs still whingeing after an 11 run on Wednesday so more of a walk than a run. Ho hum.

Ah well, I've got two more ready for first evolution than I had this morning.
