It looked like a new thread was needed, so here it is, all shiny and pristine.

Finally caught a break after weeks of those stupid flappy flat fish, woopers and tentacools in my eggs, I hatched a.... SNORLAX I'm so pleased!!

I use pinaps on eevees (always always need eevee candy), magikarps and machops, so I can power up my best Pokemon. Also use them on rares like larvitar, magnemite, starters etc.

Very happy - I caught a girafarig today! Been wanting one for ages

Here's a god little sort of cheat. If you have an apple watch. Open the game through that. It counts the steps and uses that to measure how far you've travelled. So you could literally walk around in circles and it would rack up the distance.

Good day today - got enough candy to finally evolve my Blissey!

We've also been out for the day and I caught (as well as the usual stuff) Scyther, Cyndaquil, Pineco and a Larvitar - all of which I need for evolutions.

I caught a Graveler with 1314CP. First one I've seen in the wild. It settled first ball.

Most of this afternoon was spent catching Slugma, Geodude, Onix, Kabuto and Ryhorn. I have enough candy for 2 Magcargo and 2 Kabutops. I'm happy about that, that's 2 more to add to the 'Dex.

Simutaneous hatches today were Magby, Magnemite, Rhyhorn and magnemite.

I got a bloody manitine out my 10k egg today, just as bad as a gilgar.

I now have two Blisseys!

I took down a Level 10 gym in my village yesterday on my own. It's been static for weeks and has been annoying me.

Got 4 Rhydons now, 3 Golums, 3 omnastar and 2 steelix.

Caught another Larvitar this evening so up to 35 candy. Slugma are everywhere here so I have over 200 candy. Fire pokemon are usually hard to find so hoping to get the last 30 for my gold badge before the event ends.

I still need an Aerodactyl. I hope I see one before the event ends. I can walk everything else I need for Gen 1.
I'm working in London this week and having a debate with myself on whether to cheat and use the London map to find one.

How the heck are Rhinos easier to catch than slugs?

I don't want the buddy boost of this event to end!

I now have enough candy for a Muk, Hitmontop and hopefully a Togetic before the event ends. I also stumbled across a Doduo spawning area so hope to get a few of those in the next couple of days that'll be 4 dex new Pokémon for our lucky egg session (if dd's patience holds out until the weekend)

I don't want the buddy boost to go either, I'm up to 96 Dratini candy so still need 28 but I'm at work everyday until the event ends now.

Another new one on the pokedex. Just hatched a Phanpy and had enough candy for my first Dolphan. I usually hatch rubbish so especially pleased.

I've still got lots of walking to do to get Charizard by the end of the event. Hopefully I can do it. It makes it seem more possible anyway as I have 40 candy already.

I've been seeing lots of slugmas, rynhorns, geodudes, gravellers and omanytes. Caught two onix today and just found a lavitar on way home from school run

I posted about 2 weeks ago that I had 3,500km to walk. As of today, I have 2,500! Thanks to some good hatches, catches and this buddy boost. Yay!

Spotted an onix in the park and headed out with baby and caught it with a pinapberry! I was walking mine and had seven candies left to get, so all done onto charmander now!

Evolved a golem and caught a beastly rhydon. Saw a shadow of an aerodactyl but it was school pick up and it was near a stop you can't get to with s buggy. If you've caught aerodactyl was kind of location was it in? Thanks :)

Fantastic event. From having next to no candy for Rhydon, Onix, Geodude, Slugma and Kabutops, we are now swimming in it, and have evolved them all. Got a nice strong Rhydon, now hoarding candies for future power ups and especially to evolve Rhyperior in Gen 4.

Also my local park seems to be both a Scyther and a Duodo nest, just evolved Scizor (?) and building up Duodo candy for an evolve.

I've caught three Larvitar in the event - two I Pinapped, one I caught with the go plus while I was driving. DD has evolved Tyranitar! I'm still a way away and won't get there during the event unless I get lucky with catches or bunk off work but it's a great boost.

I love, love, love my new go plus! So great for stardust. And it caught a dratini and an Aerodactyl as I drove to work :)

The Aerodactyls we caught were outside the graveyard closeish to our house, and in a botanical gardens a way away. Nothing special about either - never really had anything interesting from the graveyard before, although that particular stop in the botanical gardens has spawned things like Chikorita - not mega special, but not just vermin either.
