I'm up to 209 caught, I need four more new ones for the gold Johto catching badge. I'm still seeing a shadow every couple of days, it might be far enough away that I don't set off after it but at least I know that they are out there. Another twenty some Swinubs will get me my gold ice type badge, six more Murkrows for the silver dark type badge, 12 Ghastlys for the gold ghost type badge. There's enough there to throw balls at for another few weeks by which time I might possibly have spun another special item. Or not (probably not)

I have caught absolutely sod all worth having lately and I'm not even excited about having a 10k egg on nearly 9k because I know it won't be a Lapras. It'll be a blinking Electabuzz or something.

I love seeing all these pokemon cakes! I really want to make one, but I hate iced cakes so it would be a huge waste of money and time.

I caught a wild 2138cp ursaring this morning. My biggest wild catch to date.

I've been away for the weekend. The hotel was a pokestop and had free wifi

I'm well stocked on supplies, but the pokemon were disappointing, the usual vermin despite being on a sea front.

Having a quiet plodding phase building candies back up. Inching my way towards Level 29, maybe another week to go? I'm within a candy of being able to evolve scyther.

Maybe I should change my buddy from Porygon to something else. I just got another upgrade card. That's my fourth special item. The first two were sunstones, the last two are upgrades. And I hit a LOT of pokestops per day. I only need to walk 36 more km before I can evolve one of my two Porygons, though!

10k eggs, all eggs, really, have been crap for me lately. I've got 4 10k eggs cooking and they're probably all going to be pinecos or dratinis. Bleh!

I've been trying to catch every dark pokemon I see in order to get the badge. Around here that seems to be Mukrows, or whatever they're called. They take so many balls apiece to catch. It's nuts.

Also, has anyone caught a Chickorita in the wild with even halfway decent stats? Every single one I've caught so far says it has terrible stats. I have enough candies to evolve one now. Might have to just go for it in order to fill the pokedex. Hmph.

My totodiles are all useless too Galen. I did just evolve one just for another to add to my dex. Only seen one chikorita. 😒
Maybe I neefto work harder on the badges and forget the gyms. I've not really focused on them really, just a nice surprise when I get them. Need 6 more for my Johto region one, that's the one I want!

I finally walked far enough to evolve my scizor. Was a bit of an anticlimax though as not much happened and the cp/hp is still crap on it.

I have some good chickorita after last week's haul but my totodiles are all rubbish.

I stopped walking my omanyte 3 candy short of enough to evolve because I didn't actually have one worth evolving.

Yep, scizor is pretty disappointing.

It's funny how some areas seem to be bursting with certain Pokemon, and others are scarce.

My local Tesco has a river running beside it, and Dratini spawns there very regualrly - I've caught 12 of them (or hatched) according to Pokedex. Things like Sandshrew though are like hens teeth, I've only ever seen one and I think it was out of an egg.

Today has been fairly productive though - caught an Ursaring and Shuckle which are both new ones for me, and evolved a Lanturn from a Chinchou. Also it's been very heavy showers today and every time the clouds come over the GPS on my phone goes a bit haywire and my avatar takes herself off on wee walks up and down the street. Not that there'll be anything decent in the egg.

Up to 187 caught and 200 seen on the Pokedex.

We caught a Skiploom today which gave us enough candy for the third evolution, whatever it's called.

Hatched a fricking wooper. Arrgh.

I'm 183 caught and 209 seen. Think my fav new one so far is the one that looks like a sting ray. Shame it's hot/cp is crap

Has anyone else noticed that spawns have drastically reduced?

I was in two different cities last week - nothing doing at all. Not a single new Pokemon and literally hardly anything showing even in areas where there were three pokestops relatively close together.

Im up to 201.

215 seen.

I've caught 213, seen 218. A couple of those seen were gen2 evolves that people had put in gyms. Haven't had anything new since I caught a Miltank over a week ago. With 31 CP, lol. Quite a few totodiles and croconaws around here but they're all wicked crappy stats.

Spawning seems about the same as ever for me, haven't noticed any reduction.

Hello Shuckle! Welcome to my Pokedex

I now have enough candy to evolve a, wait for it, Charmeleon! I was out of action for pretty much the entire 'starter pokemon' event.

I missed the starter event too Psammead and am currently walking with Bulbasaur for probably a few hundred miles. Still need Charizard too.

I have a strange theory that if something is your buddy that they appear more often. Might be chance but haven't seen any starters for months and saw Bulbasaur wild after buddying

Psammead, Shuckle is one of my new favourites, it's so cute.

But yes, I think spawns are down - I've not seen a shadow for a week or two now, which seems fairly quick given gen2 is so new still.

I evolved a Skyther to a scizor the weekend. So popped him on a gym this weekend see how long he lasts..

The only shadow I've seen in the past 2 weeks was Qwllfish. I'm not even getting anything new from eggs. Take today's hatches: Charmander (very welcome but only brought 5 Candy with it), a rubbish Psyduck and another sodding Togepi.

Now up to 180 on the Pokedex thanks to the Qwllfish, seen 196.

Bah. Got home from the school run with a 10k egg on 9.8k. Made our dog come out for a walk just to hatch it, got caught in an absolutely Biblical hail/rain storm and then it hatched and it was a blooming Gligar, which I've already caught three of in the house. Where is my sodding Lapras?!

All I've had from 10k eggs are gligars and sodding pinecos too.

Only 4K to go on my kabuto! If I never see another effing kabuto again (which I haven't anyway, hence having to walk the fucker for 50k) I will be content.
