I have only ever seen one Dratini. Ever. Our town is rubbish.

Just to make things worse about Unown, there are lots of different ones to get as well as they're all different letters of the alphabet.

I hatched a Larvitar! Yay!

Also hatched a Tyrogue, but with the wrong stats to evolve into a Hitmontop. Boo :(

Meanwhile, no new special items, and all other hatches sucked balls.

I did evolve a Togeti, so that was fun. I have enough to evolve whatever comes after Crocinaw, but so far every Totodile & Crocinaw I've caught has had super crappy stats. I might just have to evolve one anyhow just to get all the things.

Also evolved a Pineco into whatever it is a Pineco evolves into. And once I did that, I hatched two more Pinecos from 10k eggs. Niantic is a cynical bastard, lol.

I caught a Dratini! I know that's not exciting, but it's only the 3rd I've seen in the wild. Everything else was just the usual vermin, which all got ground up for candy apart from one Rattata and one Psyduck.

Oh yeah, hatched another Togepi.

Im already fed up of gen2. The rubbish pokemon have just been replaced by new rubbish.

I hatched a sodding magnemite today.

I stopped using blue incubators for anything other than 10k eggs as it wasn't worth it to hatch rubbish. I had 8 blue incubators at Christmas and now I have 7. So in over 2 months Ive had one 10k egg.

Its impossible to get in a gym now as they all have Blisseys in them.

We evolved this angry looking thing earlier from a Phanphy.
Other than that - pretty crap lately, millions of Spinareks and Sentrats. Can't believe how happy I feel when I see a good old fashioned Weedle these days...

Yeah, I much prefer catching gen 1 to the neverendinng swinubs and sentrets as well.

I got 9 candy for a 10 cp ledied! I think we get more candy for higher level new ones.

Yes, I've noticed more candy for evolved pokemon.

At least there's more variety to vermin between gen 1 and gen 2.

I've got some newbies. Did a mass evolution last night so got my first Poliwrath, Machamp, Alakazam, Espeon, Umbreon. Hatched another new one while running this morning (Yanma). Caught Octillary while running yesterday.

Now on 221k/ 300k of level 28. Hopefully I should level up around the end of the month. No new evolutions coming up in a hurry though!

The local gyms have gone static again with two of my pokemon in healthy positions, so thats 20 coins per day.

There were sightings of unown in Durham, last week. Various letters of the alphabet, too!

Just caught a shackle. Needed a great ball and look at it! Wonder why they're so hard to catch.

Our other new Pokémon today were some houndour. We have 2 nests in striking distance, so should be able to evolve one, before long.

Also have a chiquorita nest very nearby, but not easily accessible by bus, so might visit by car if the weather is better, tomorrow.

I had a few Shuckles in the Botantical Gardens this afternoon but mine were all puny little things and didn't put up a fight.

I'm loving the new mon. I got my first 2 houndour today and a bayleef, I've got four new ones to evolve with my 7 day streak tomorrow as well as hopefully visiting a girafarig nest.

We were super lucky and got a metal coat today, so we evolved a Steelix.

Also got our first Victreebell.

I already have a bellossom but no sunkern at all.

Got a tip online for those times you are low on revives. If you power up your knocked out Pokémon, it usually adds a bit onto HP, so you can get them to full strength using just potions, no revive required! Obviously heavy on the stardust, but another option.

Hardwick park, Sedgefield, is even better as a nest than leazes park! We went round the lake, once! These things are partial to the woodland, there.

4 new ones today! Caught a Girafig, evolved a Ursaing, caught a Lantern thingy (evolves from Chinchau) and caught a billion Quilfish!

Still no more special items but hatched a Smoochum today and got two 10k eggs to hatch.

Today I saw aa shadow of a deer type 'Mon. I walked the 50m to the relevant Pokestop and there it was. I tapped on it and it turns out it's a Stantler. I fed it a Razz Berry and chucked an Ultra Ball in its general direction and watched as it went STRUGGLE, STRUGGLE, struggle, RING OF BRIGHT STARS Gotcha! Stantler was caught!

Now up to 178 on the Pokedex.

We went for a family walk this afternoon, National Trust woodland type place with three gyms and maybe six pokestops. I had enough of a phone signal to see me and the shadow at the stop across the lake but not enough to make my trainer walk. I shut the app rather than be faced with the frustration.

Oh interesting FreeNiki, I just tried it with one of mine and it worked...not really thorough research was it?! So save that for the ones you want to power up anyway.

I have caught a couple of new ones this weekend, maybe due to the nests changing/migrations whatever you call it. Bit sad the cyndaquils not hanging out at my house now though.
