I have just seen the special items when looking at what I can evolve. My ds is now researching how to get them. It could take forever if having to wait for them to drop from pokestops!

Porygon I have no idea if I'm catching anything good either. Just so excited to get new pokemon!

Has anyone done the evee evolutions yet to get the gen 2 ones?

26 new mon today!!!!!!! Finally got a 10k egg too!

Oh my fucking god. My lure lasted for HOURS and I had to switch the game off in the end because it was too distracting. Caught a bunch of new stuff and was too excited to save my evolves.

I had a meeting in London today and time for some 06:30 poke hunting. I had all gen 1 and the babies but had a great day and now on 180. Pokestops near Tower of London dropped two metal coats so could evolve Scizor and Steelix. Best Pokemon day for ages! Back in the countryside now.

I'm now only one new one away from my Johto pokedex silver medal. And I'm on my way to my bronze medal for Dark type pokemon. Nice to have some new ones to work on. :)

I've got seven gen1 pokemon with enough candy to evolve as I'd been stockpiling, but will have to wait for the special items to actually do it. Despite all of the pokestops I've hit today I still don't have even one.

I'm sick of the app crashing though. It means I haven't been able to keep logging in and out to catch stuff for the kids as well the way I would usually, so they're rather disappointed not to have much of the new stuff yet.

The excitement levels are sky high again - my DSs were literally screaming this morning with gen 2

I still think that these new pokemon have no soul and are too unrealistic.

I hatched a fucking paras today from a 5km egg. And a pichu and an abra from 2km eggs.

This one mixes berries with its bodily fluids. Yuck.

Ooh the teddy is so cute! It must be the Mickey Mouse shaped shadow I can currently see on my nearby list (too warm and snuggly to go out though!).

Before the update I had 7 unconscious Pokémon and not a sniff of a Revive for days. The update restored them all to full health and consciousness! Has it always done this? I was pleased, and loving the new Pokémon whose names I can't remember either.

I think this gives a flavour of the day that I've had. It's about the only thing that's gone my way!

We were going down to London. Got to the train station and it turned out that all trains were cancelled. Some lurking around the station raiding pokestops and catching newbies. Ended up walking across town to the bus station and booking National Express tickets. Some lurking around town for a few hours. Caught the coach. Insted of the 90 minutes by train, we wound through town A... then through city B... several hours later we're winding through London, more pokestops and newbies.

So the bad news is we arrived in London 6 hours later than intended, but the good news is that I'm within spitting distance of level 28 and have umpteen new pokemon. I'm out of balls as I'm within range of a pokestop with a lure, but not quite close enough to benefit from the drops from it. sigh
