My 10k egg hatched this morning at the breakfast table - it was a sodding Jynx. Bah!

In pokemon land, are there no normal animals or insects?

The area where I take the DCs swimming tends to get a more interesting array than my neighbourhood, although I've now got over 100 Mr Mime candies.

The previous nest migration moved the action towards the local poke stops, so there was less to catch from home, but the diversity at the poke stops improved. I just found that I came home with as few balls as I set off with!

I got Tangela recently. I thought it was quite cool and put it in a gym when they were being knocked out quickly.

Yesterday afternoon I took down a level 8 gym. It was blue for a couple hours until it got taken down back to red. Then this morning I took it back, not for coins as such but just to stop the other team ffrom claiming theirs. It feels kinda good being a petty cow :D

I have got a 2 k and 10k egg .. fingers crossed .. caught a dratini about 1/2 way .. one park nearby has changed to chatmander nest so off for a walk tomorrow..

Could kill the idiot who put a 500cp Chansey in a friendly gym. I couldn't beat it for shit with a half CP and in the meantime I lost the other gym I was hoping to collect together

I have caught 126 and seen 141. Currently buddying a grimer - just need 10 candies to get a Muk.

The kids and I share an account which has maximised our catching opportunities and we're about to achieve level 26.

I am curious to know whether if my nephew in Australia downloads the Pokémon Go app and then logs in as me for a few days will he be able to catch me a Kangaskhan as there's no chance of us affording a trip to Oz anytime soon ? Does anyone know if this works. I can't believe that so many people living in our fairly rural location have been down under to acquire one.

We've really got in to battling gyms recently to get free coins to save up and buy incubators as the kids say that the new Pokemon can only be hatched and not caught.

Damn, my two eggs i picked up today are both 5km ones. I now have 9 yellow eggs. I am going to have to do a lot of walking to whittle them down. On a positive note i managed to catch a dratini and a kabuto today. All in all i am fairly pleased.

My farming circuit looks to no longer be a nest of anything at all. I caught Weedles there today, I don't think I've ever seen one there before because all the spawn points have been packed with interesting things.

Does anyone have a feel for how much data you use? We're back in the UK for Xmas and assuming there is a proper Xmas special I don't want to miss out especially as we should get a day or two shopping so I'm interested to see what hunting's like in a city. Not sure I can afford the roaming though since we're not based in the EU

Check your data useage. It should tell you by app how much you use.

Here you are....I play PG almost constantly when out walking this is how much data is has used since beginning of month.....hardly anything.

Got some more Festive!Pikachus, too - have 32 Pikachu candies atm & even if I weren't to catch any more I've enough in my Pokédex I could transfer to get enough candy to evolve a festive!Raichu. I saw one in a gym this afternoon & it looked adorable. It was a Level 7 gym & I spent quite a while prestiging it to 8 so that I could join. I'm 5th of the 8 there - or rather, my little Lapras is. I would be worried leaving it that much further from home, but the Pokémon above is another Lapras & they're at the church my Granny went to. (I love the idea of a wee Lapras just floating into Mass... and you know the priest would have to put the blessed sacrament into its mouth because those flippers would be too much of a drop!risk even if it could bend down to gromph it up [& pretty sure gromphing + transubstantiation do not go together, but am not about to ask anyone with authority to rule on such matters] & then you'd have a frantic Lapras flailing about on top of the General Commotion there is if someone drops a consecrated host...). And on a slightly saner note, one of my Rhydons is in the gym at the top of my road. Which is only L4 & there I AM the lowest-ranked...

namechangeforanonymity, yes you can get him to log in for you. I was talking to someone recently who has all of the region specific ones due to log-in trades with friends or family abroad.

Spent ages walking today to hatch my new 10k egg and it's a pinsir. Which isn't very exciting.

Oh that reminds me, I've been meaning to say if anyone is abroad or going abroad and fancies doing a trade for teh region specific ones I'd be happy to do that - lots are doing it over on reddit but I think I'd trust you lot with my account details more :)

Sadly I have no non-European trips coming up so could only help MNettters in America or Far East if they want a Mr Mime (spawn outside my house - so bored of them.
