Ok go into GC and at the bottom of the screen click on friends.
then at the top of the screen click on the + sign.
type in the GC name of the person, exactly. Put a message in referring to MN and Hayday
Send!
I have sent you one. so you need to accept it on the same page.
Then if you work tirelessly through this thread you will be able to add dozens of people and have lots of lovely farms to visit. You can help people and buy from their shops.

Time to update this list? I know there are loads more that are not on the list?
It's not pretty but anyone who wants to add GC friends can use it.
Can I ask if you want to add to it or correct it, please copy and paste the whole lot with your corrections?

Hay Day Queen - thank you! I have found my new android farm via Facebook (had a few heart attacks along the way) and am merrily making and selling myself cream so as my dairy can make butter, butter and more butter! It is a pain starting a new farm and doing it all again though!

Wow, that was hard work, secret, thank you . I haven't found a way of copying and pasting anything on MN other than whatever I am putting in the text box, before it's posted. I can't do other people's upthread at all . If anyone does know, please tell me!

I can't remember which MN quiche I'm in, but we trade a lot and help each other. We chat too, when we haven't got trades going on.

It is a shame neighbourhoods can't talk to each other and nor can friends. Mind you, I seem to have picked up some friends who use a different alphabet, so I'd have no idea what they'd be saying .

ZING how do you find the chests in the sea? I can't find any :-(

Ladybird you are looking in the sea off the town are you and not the river where the boat comes?

Mrs McGregor, hopefully your feeder farm will get different 'pressies'. Some farms get more bolts, others get more screws, etc. With some luck your farms will balance out!

Thnx secretsquirrels. I was looking in sea near boat and where we fish, I didn't realise the town had a beach!!!! Any more hints and tips pls let me know, TIA ;-)

I am going to ignore the next boat too AND the truck orders. And Greg.
1/3rd to getting a jam maker and am sorely tempted to completely empty my barn especially of all the fancy difficult to find crap that the train people want.

here's my strategy.

see how far away you are from next upgrade of silo and barn, then try & upgrade one and sell most upgrade materials for the other to get cash.
if you only have a third or less of the materials you need for silo for example, I'd just sell the lot so all nails, screws and wood panels. no merci.
or sell them in batches till you get enough coins.

buy your jam maker.

then dedicate some time sowing and harvesting crops to get some of the stuff back for free.

also make sure that whatever materials you have they are roughly the same in quantity - apparently the more you have of one the more you get given that very item! (from field, animals, produce, fruit picking etc)

I tested this theory a few times, it seems to work.
I had 35 panels at some point, but only about 10 duct tapes and bolts each.
sold about 20x panels, then suddenly I kept on being given other things inc tapes & bolts, not panels for a while!

I've got tomatoes. Sadly no one want me in their quiche, so I guess I will just sell them to man-arms Greg, or hoard them, a gigantic silo full of tomatoes.

I meant to add that because of that in-built system of trying to stop hoarding, if you have evemn quantities you are more likely to be given them also evenly.

and if not just sell what you have loads of, both to make money and free up space

have you tried the Moar MN quiche?
