Yes, I too spend more time than is strictly healthy on this game. I went cold turkey for a week on holiday but am now wasting the good weather on an app.

Tweedledont - I'm also on your quiche. Sorry to see you go. Yes, HD is terribly addictive. DS accidentally spent 54 of my precious diamonds on five days of Tom. I found myself HD'ing at 4am this morning so as to maximise my wasted diamonds (coins are pouring in though!). The other DS has started playing and is forever wanting to check his boat - DH is going mad because every time he looks around, someone is on HD. I think I need to go cold turkey too but can't see it just yet. I am being stricter with myself though and trying to step away once I have queued my machines.

Have you all known about the treasure chests in the sea???

I found one totally by accident, on the beach of my own town, clicked on it and it gave me bricks!

So I went into other people's towns and - just as the red boxes on the fields - there is always a treasure chest in the sea!
(Unless you have just opened one, again, same as red box)

So I went treasure chest hunting a few times, got a spade, TNT, bolt etc..same deal but materials for town/train are included.

I am now ready to accept that I have a Hay Day problem and probably the best thing to do is instead of hoping it will just go away naturally to completely embrace all things Hay Day and to over-face myself with it, in the same way as people who start work at cadburys are allowed to eat as much chocolate as they like until they never want to see another double decker again. Like that but with chicken feed and Greg and his big manly waving arm.

Could someone please explain to me how this neighbourhood malarkey works. Is it like a communist collective? I joined one but there was an awful lot of hunning and not much farming chat, so I left and have joined three others and there has been NO chat, just people joining and then leaving, which is weird.

Do I need to put some effort in on a mn thread to apply to a quiche?

And, WHY are there no jeffing cream cakes for sale, at all, ever? I have looked all over the world SEVERAL times for some, not even the Chinese are flogging them.

Greg's right arm is bigger than his left arm. I'm drawing my own conclusions as to the reason for that.

We do a lot of trading to help each other with stuff like cream cakes.

I'm about to leave this current neighbood. No one is speaking! It's creepy. I'd rather have Greg and his whopper arm than a neighbourhood of deathly silence.

I think I tried to join a mn quiche prematurely.

In cream cake news a very kindly French person just gifted me two. How nice is that. Is there help etiquette when folk do that? Shall I go and buy all her wheat or something?

Slubber, I joined the MN quiche and just jumped straight in, both feet, and everyone is really friendly and helpful although there're probably sick of me asking for help already!

How do you become rid of people who have not been on HD for ages but are taking up your befriending places? I went into the Game thingy but there is no trace of them and they are not MNers.

OK, I think I've just asked to join the moar mn quiche. Farm is Green Chesters, my name has Degullion in it, I think, God I sometimes can't remember who the chuff I am on the internet. I'm not a man.

Slubber ours is the "another MN quiche" There is a lot of trading and varying amounts of chat on here. It depends when you are on. Also quiche members try to help each other's boats if possible.
The main problem with the neighbourhoods is that communication is limited to the chat, which disappears very quickly. There isn't a way to communicate directly with other members other than chat, and if they are busy in RL they will miss it.
There do seem to be a few on our quiche who I have never seen chatting or trading?
Ladyday if you are following this thread did you delete almighty as she requested? That might mean we have a space?

I always try to help with GC friends' boats. It's such a shame we can't do inter-quiche communication.

Please can you tell me how to do a GC friend request. I'm sorry, I am completely technically inadequate, I keep looking in GC but. I don't know how to work it.
