So. Bear Grylls has officially stopped being a vegan and gone full-on carnivore, eating three steaks a day, even for breakfast. He is an offal enthusiast and says he's never felt better. He avoids vegetables and all carbs apart from fruit.
It's up to him, but I think that the carnivore diet oozes first world privilege. What if every human on the planet ate like this? (And why shouldn't they - why should it just be the preserve of western people?) How long would the world's resources last?
If people want to eat meat on this scale - and I don't understand how he isn't chronically constipated - then humans will have to turn to lab-grown beef and chicken. Of course, the people who do espouse this WOE are appalled by the prospect. but is there really any alternative?
