Best dairy-free milk for Yorkshire Tea?

I've been an "almost-vegan" for a while, save for having a small drop of cows milk in my cup of Yorkshire Tea.
As I don't have a lot of milk, I'm sure I'll be able to make the change quite quickly and without feeling like I'm missing out on anything. The thought of having more than a tiny drop of cows milk makes me feel quite repulsed these days anyway.
I'm just wondering what dairy-free milk vegans think goes best with Yorkshire Tea?

I like soya milk for tea. Almond milk is ok in coffee but tastes a bit oily in tea

Cashew milk is wonderful but it does taste more like full fat milk if you see what I mean

I have tried every plant milk under the sun, but none of them make tea taste good IMO.

I’m a soya fan for everything, probably Oatly second, but none of them will taste exactly right you just have to persevere until your tastebuds adapt. When I gave up dairy I had no hot drinks for about 5 months, when I started then go again with dairy free milk it didn’t feel like as much of s change. Going from dairy one day to vegan milk the next it will taste odd for a while.

I've got exactly the same problem - I'm eating a mostly plant based diet but I'm struggling with giving up milk in tea. I've trained myself to drink black coffee and I actually prefer it now without milk, but I don't really like black tea and I don't like dairy free milk in tea. I only have a tiny splash and a pint of normal milk lasts a fortnight.
I've been thinking maybe I should give up drinking tea altogether for a couple of weeks then try again with black tea to see if my tastebuds adjust.

Hemp milk. Soya is not good for the environment. Hemp is a good alternative and comes in unsweetened versions too. It uses far less water than the same equivalent of soya.

I quite like hemp milk, it doesn't have a particularly strong taste, nice and neutral.

The brand I've bought is good hemp in a blue and white carton. It's with all the uht dairy free milks on the shelf.

Koko dairy free which is a coconut based milk is nice in tea if you like your tea on the sweet side. Doesn't curdle unlike some milk substitutes.

Oatly barista is the hands down winner in my view. Much prefer it to cow’s milk now. Bit pricey, but worth it

Rice milk all the way for me - doesn't taste of much so doesn't mask the taste of the tea.

Isn't almond milk watery? I bought some recently and even quite a lot of it still leaves the tea/coffee v dark
