Southern Suffolk - can anyone suggest child-friendly & foodie pubs please!

We are staying in Suffolk for a few weeks and would love some suggestions of places to eat out with DS. But also will have inlaws available to babysit for a few days so would like to make the most of the freedom to go out to eat just me & DP. Any recommendations please?

Are you anywhere near Nayland? Several excellent foodie pubs there.

we will be in Woodbridge - I don't know where Nayland is. DS is just 3 but is very used to eating out. He doesn't need it to be really kiddie for him but more that I won't feel that he is out of place iykwim!

The Wilford Bridge at MELTON.

The Railway at CAMPSEA ASHE.

The Red Lion at MARTLESHAM does a good carvery.

The Black tiles also at MARTLESHAM.

Avoid The Seal in Woodbridge unless you like frozen lasagne.

In the Square in Framlingham used to be good I think....

The White Horse at Tattingstone
lovely food, friendly local pub, and they are a young couple with child so happy to have children there.

The Dog at Grundisburgh,also second the Black Tiles,also the Maybush at waldringfield and the pub at Glemham,can't remember name will ask tomorrow at work.Aldeburgh good for day out and the Brudenell is very family friendly for Sunday lunch with proper food in childrens portions.

Wilford bridge can be a bit dodgy I have heard.Kings Head in Woodbrdige very good but garden not very family friendly ,Wild Strawberry cafe on market hill good and very family friendly ..do boiled egg and soldiers in the morning..the owner has young children

If you want mega posh nosh at an over inflated price, The Riverside in WOODBRIDGE.

Oh eating out on your own try the Spice Bar in the Thoroughfare in Woodbridge ,also the Riverside for Tapas at lunchtime and they do film and dinner which is fun...only cinema I know where you can take a drink in ,Woodbridge is a very civilised place!Also Galley on market Hill good espoecially the turkish rice pudding but a bit expensive.

White Horse at Easton has just changed hands don't know about the new owners but Farm park good at Easton.I've heard that the Admirals head in Bealings is good for Sunday lunch but have never been.

White Horse is still good. We were only there last month.

The Victoria and the other pub I can't remember the name of at Felixstowe Ferry (the old nice part of Felixstowe v nice too, and I second the Maybush.
Also new restaurant in The Crown Hotel in Framlingham supposed to be good.
