We are staying in Suffolk for a few weeks and would love some suggestions of places to eat out with DS. But also will have inlaws available to babysit for a few days so would like to make the most of the freedom to go out to eat just me & DP. Any recommendations please?

Yes she uses the Co-op very regularly and Revetts of course for the best sausages in the world (in my and DH's opinion anyway) . Also used the beautician there and Sweet Dreams (they fitted me with the best sports bra). And we go for Coffee sometimes at the Coffee place near Seagers.
But when she had children at home it was the supermarket all the way.
She hates shopping so Wickham is perfect lol.

Would agree with Black Tiles Martlesham for somewhere you can take the kids, they same people also run the Alex on the seafront at Felixstowe. Also the Crown & Castle at Orford is supposed to be good foodie pub (prob best without the kids) and the Great House at Lavenham also good foodie place, although further away from Woodbridge.

In the Square at Framlingham still good. When you go out with DH recommend The Swan Inn at Hoxne. Not the nearest, but worth the, very scenic, drive. (Go cross country, not A12)

Goober - did you give any more thought to the Suffolk meet-up?

Then lost the thread.
Then had a death in the family that has knocked me for 6, I can't see much beyond my family at the mo.

I know exactly how that feels, I'm off to Lowestoft tomorrow to say goodbye to my Nan. Thrown me completely. Maybe later in the summer? I'm on the April 07 PostNatal thread, come and find me when you're ready
