If you could stay in any hotel in London

Where would you stay? Money no object.

For my 50th birthday this summer I was supposed to be going on a big trip abroad with DH but today we found out that for various reasons we can't go 😢.

DH has suggested a couple of nights in London with a stay in a fab hotel instead. (Well not really instead but something to do on my actual birthday). I'd love to stay in Claridges. It's hugely expensive though and im a bit reluctant to spend so much.

So I thought I'd shop around for something as nice but perhaps not quite so pricey. So if you could choose any hotel in central London where would you stay?

I was going to suggest that too. We were there for an anniversary and got moved to the most glorious room fronting onto,the street. Was marvellous.

Rosewood Hotel

Ours was at the front too - loved leaving the sash windows open at night and listening to the street sounds below - felt like I was in a Georgian novel - I am sure I could hear horse hooves

Shangri-La or Claridges

I stayed at the Dorchester for my 40th and it was amazing.
