If you could stay in any hotel in London

Where would you stay? Money no object.

For my 50th birthday this summer I was supposed to be going on a big trip abroad with DH but today we found out that for various reasons we can't go 😢.

DH has suggested a couple of nights in London with a stay in a fab hotel instead. (Well not really instead but something to do on my actual birthday). I'd love to stay in Claridges. It's hugely expensive though and im a bit reluctant to spend so much.

So I thought I'd shop around for something as nice but perhaps not quite so pricey. So if you could choose any hotel in central London where would you stay?

I'd like to stay at the dean street townhouse but it's out of my budget

The Rooftops at the Zetter are lovely. Small, but great views and in a really nice part of London.

Should say - that's the Clerkenwell Zetter

Stayed at the principal and corinthia and loved both.

id love to stay in the shard, it’s on my big birthday bucket list.

The mandarin oriental by Hyde Park. Such a beautiful building. Never been that as sadly money is not going to stretch that far, but would love to.

The Soho Hotel.

The Savoy.

The Langham in the Club Rooms (which is fabulous value when you consider you can sit in the club lounge and drink champagne all day if you want).
