Hello

Traveling to London with my Daughter in Dec would love advise on reasonable priced hotel in a good area to go sightseeing. Would like to stay somewhere that's easy to travel from and safe or easy to get to at night. We plan to go on hop on/off buss to see the city she wants to see the Christmas lights, Hyde park winter wonderland and hope to see Wicked the musical. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

thanks for advice on the dates I am staying standard room only available, the bigger room option is not available. The bed looks small in standard room have you stayed in standard room or bigger room there?

We always stay at Travelodge Docklands. It’s a fairly new hotel with their super rooms, cheap at weekends and quick, excellent transport into the centre.

Wicked is seriously dull, and winter wonderland crowded, overpriced and yes, also dull...

We have stayed in both and although we obviously prefer the bigger room the standard is fine, we are both on the larger side and find the bed ok! We have had to book a standard for our December trip but we spend so little time at the hotel I don't mind.

Also for those saying don't go to winter wonderland, yes it's expensive and crowded but for a teen desperate to go I don't think it's worth the argument to not go! Just be prepared for it being expensive Smile

Premier Inn Hubs are great but only if you are willing to share a bed.

Travelodge in Drury Lane is normally reasonable! Basic but clean!

PanicAtTheBigTesco thanks for reply and advice, think I will go with London City Bank as we plan to be out & about during the day will not be spending too much time in the room, I think I was feeling a little anxious about going away on my own with my daughter and needed some advice on nice place and area to stay thanks so much we will be there Friday to Monday so hope the area not to quite coming back at night. Hope you enjoy your stay there
