Luxury sea view hotel with pool- south coast

Looking for a luxury sea view hotel on the South Coast, with pool, to celebrate a family birthday. Any ideas? Most hotels I’ve looked at are a bit dated, or have no pool, or get average trip advisor ratings. We need 5 rooms for 11 people. Ideally looking in Poole area, or similar ie. not as far as Devon/Cornwall or too far into East Sussex. Thanks.

Bailiffscourt (near Arundel) is lovely.

Redcliff Hotel Paignton. We used to stay there when I was a child. Had a tunnel from hotel to the beach !

This looks great.

It is, we’ve been a few times. It was about £400 a night for a family room last time we went.

Evening meals are v expensive though so we ate out some nights.

If you call them and say you need 5 rooms, they may give you a better price

I was in Bournemouth recently and there were some. I think it was the Marriott and another one next to it that i made a mental note to investigate

The harbour hotel at Christchurch would be a lot nicer that’s the Southampton one which is in a pretty odd location.
