DS is going to St Andrews Uni and we have to bring him up from the South of England. Unsurprisingly all the airbnbs etc are booked up. Can anyone make any suggestions, know of accommodation that is normally rented privately, good places very nearby etc?

Thank you so much @JennyWreny - we lucked out and got a cancellation in Anstruther. We've come up as a family to see DS off (and to show DS2) St As as he'll be applying next year.
