What would it be?

With kids - Natural History museum.
Without - British Museum.

But of course the good thing about going to London is you don't have to rigidly do one thing - museum(s) plus walks, parks.

Hamilton is my number one so it's nice to see it appear Grin

@EwwSprouts

Slow boat down to Greenwich. Or ask your MP to arrange a private tour of the Houses of Parliament. Anyone can do it. To see the seats of power up close and the sense of history is amazing.

I had no idea this was possible!

Definitely something to consider.

@underneaththeash

What age and what dates and what's the budget?

Oh no, I was just asking what others enjoyed. Sorry - badly worded on my part maybe

Test match at Lord’s.

Sodthebloodypicnic · 09/02/2022 23:42

Duck and waffle breakfast at sunrise (views out over the city) and not too expensive.

I love the Tower of London. The thought that I'm walking in the footsteps of so many people from so many points in history. The Ceremony of the Keys is so worth doing, but a bugger to get tickets for.

gegs73 · 10/02/2022 09:31

I'd agree with others about walk everywhere. Waterloo, Southbank, St Paul's over to Barbican, walk back through Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square to Covent Garden (Neills Yard end). Maybe go see a show. I went to this place www.mercatometropolitano.com recently which was amazing close to Waterloo. Reasonably priced indoor street food, drinks and music. Enjoy!

Aposterhasnoname · 10/02/2022 09:34

Tour of Buckingham palace.

It’s absolutely the best thing to do. And someone above said it is not on at the moment. It definitely is. There’s nothing better to do.
Skeam · 10/02/2022 11:14

Courtauld, ROH and Borough Market.

Time40 · 10/02/2022 11:27

Walk a lot.

Swim in one of the lidos (although maybe not in February).

buddylicious · 10/02/2022 11:32

Buy a house!

rambleonplease · 10/02/2022 11:38

With kids... science museum followed by Hyde park walk and Diana playground.

Without kids... just walk around London starting at Covent Garden down to trafalgar sq, the down to the river over to the south bank and have a mooch around there with something to eat.

ABitOfAShitShow · 10/02/2022 11:49

Culture - British Museum.

Show - Hamilton.

Food Market - Borough Market.

Walk - Highgate Cemetery.

Fancy meal - Hakkasan.

ABitOfAShitShow · 10/02/2022 11:50

Wild Card - a good cabaret/burlesque show.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/02/2022 17:34

Depends who's paying! I'd love to go to The Ritz for lunch.

HasaDigaEebowai · 10/02/2022 17:41

Hamilton or the tower. Or natural history museum.

myrtleberry · 11/02/2022 20:35

CraftyGin · 11/02/2022 20:38
