Walk, walk and then walk some more! Love a good wander round Borough Market.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 09/02/2022 22:04

Oh just looked and it is!

So that.

Hoolihan · 09/02/2022 22:04

Lunch at Claridges.

StrawberryPot · 09/02/2022 22:05

Walk, walk and then walk some more! Love a good wander round Borough Market.

Beat me to it! Borough Market and a walk along the Thames. Perfect!

BoodleBug51 · 09/02/2022 22:05

V & A Museum. I would walk round it even if it was empty, as the building on its own is just exquisite. It's my favourite place in London.

tintodeverano2 · 09/02/2022 22:06

Leave.

LizzieMacQueen · 09/02/2022 22:08

Wander around Liberty.

TheFlis12345 · 09/02/2022 22:08

@Cissyandflora @BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz Now is the best time! It’s not sold out for most shows and you can get tickets at short notice and decent prices. I am going again for the 6th time in a few weeks and can’t recommend it highly enough!!

TroysMammy · 09/02/2022 22:11

Jack the Ripper tour or Highgate Cemetery.

EwwSprouts · 09/02/2022 22:12

Slow boat down to Greenwich.
Or ask your MP to arrange a private tour of the Houses of Parliament. Anyone can do it. To see the seats of power up close and the sense of history is amazing.

underneaththeash · 09/02/2022 22:13

What age and what dates and what's the budget?

Skinnytailedsquirrel · 09/02/2022 22:14

Walk. No maps, just walk and see the beauty.

StillSmallVoice · 09/02/2022 22:16

Walk the South Bank. Start at Lambeth Bridge where you can see Lambeth Palace, with the Museum of Garden History right next to it. Houses of Parliament across the river. Pass by the wall with all the hearts for Covid at St Thomas' Hospital. Westminster Bridge, London Eye, at various points you walk by Borough Market,Southwark Cathedral, Tate Modern, replica of the Golden Hind, oops missed the whole of the South Bank Centre, Shakespeare's Globe and eventually Tower Bridge. At various points lovely views of St Paul's cathedral, and boats going up and down the river while you are at it.

Will that do?

Houseplantmad · 09/02/2022 22:17

Thames Clipper boat from Putney to London Bridge (sitting outside). Lunch at Borough Market, up the Shard and then walk back along the south bank.

StillSmallVoice · 09/02/2022 22:18

I once got a boat from Westminster to Hampton Court. Lovely day and got the train back to central London

gingerhills · 09/02/2022 22:41

With kids - Science Museum hands on section.
On my own? I'd just walk for miles - along the river, around Soho, through all the gorgeous parks, the Victorian arcades, the squares, markets, past all the buskers and street artists etc.
