Best London Premier Inn for Family Stay

Looking at going to London next year with DH and 8 year old son. Can anyone recommend a good central Premier Inn to stay at for a few nights. Access to standard/chain restaurants and near a tube stop on a good link for sights/museums etc. Thanks

There's a Travelodge on drury lane which is a great central location.

Just use Trivago to search for family rooms across all chains and see what's available the nights you need, I've tried several chains out and the best location wise I got once was travellodge near Leicester Square, room wasn't as smart but it was such an excellent spot!

I’ve booked Premier Inn Waterloo for an upcoming weekend in October. It looks really close to the County Hall one mentioned above, but that was full. We really like that South Bank area, it’s very family friendly and close to lots of sights/transport links.

DH also really likes the Waterloo Travelodge (he’s stayed there a few times with work).

Angel. Just down the road from KGX / Euston, Waitrose across the road plus Islington for breakfast. 3 minutes walk from Tube. Also much cheaper than other central London ones. We paid £50 a night recently.

Thanks Mumsnetters - I've just booked Southwark Station for £260 for 5 nights next April. Super happy with the choice, as we were originally looking at Premier Inn options that were nearly £400 for 4 nights. We can now afford an extra night away due to your help!!!

Looks like the perfect spot for us as there are several family/fussy child friendly restaurants within walking distance too.

We've stayed there before. Brilliant location. I tend to go with whichever comes up as cheapest along Southbank. Enjoy!

We stayed at the Thistle Bloomsbury last week. Was cheaper than a Premier Inn for a junior suite with breakfast (you need to create an account on their own website to get the best prices). Was great and I'd stay there again. Fantastic location too.

I stayed in the Premier Inn Hub at King's Cross recently and was very happy.

We stayed at the Leicester Square Premier Inn over the summer. It was fab to be so central.

I like the Chiswick one but it suits because we are driving from the Westcountry. Handy for M3 and M4. It’s cheap and a quick walk to the District line. Nice safe area with cafes, restaurants, Sainsbury’s in the high street.
